2 Days to go -

Hi Folks

we are almost there. If you still are thinking of extra bonus videos/ cartoons now is the time for the extra push!

If we raise the stretch goals, I will include the "making of" video on the Cans DVD/film but I will post the alternate ending and the Sody cartoon on a site where you can download them.

That way, fans who just want Cans on it's in own dvd can have that to show at Church, but those also want the slightly more risqué bonuses can download them separately and don't have to worry about your Deacon or politically sensitive friends being shocked. Howzatt?

Your estranged cousin,

John K.

I also hope will at least get the Behind The Scenes feature too, I love watching that kind of stuff!!!

You should have both the risqu'e and cleaner version on the DVD. People have actually made DVDs where you can choose to have the program bleeped or un-bleeped and censored or uncensored. I think that should be the way to go for the DVD.

I actually love how shocking your cartoons can be! thats why I can't wait to see the cartoon on my future DVD copy!

I upped my pledge. I actually love the behind-the-scenes videos far more than I should (sometimes I've been known to buy animated features just for the videos showing animators work). My only complaint is that typically they show like one minute of actual animators with pencils/Cintiqs and then spend 30 minutes on the voice actors, but what do I know. Hope we'll get the extras ^_^

If you can sneak Ren Hoek and Stimpson J. Cat in there, you've got a deal! I'd even settle for cousin Sven or Mr. Horse! Either way, I can't wait for Cans Without Labels!

Throw the alt. ending and Sody stuff on as a secret button/easter egg. The more content on the DVD, the better. Make them available for download also for those who don't get the DVD, of course.

Sounds good :) . I'll try and post in the comments sections of Toon Boom youtube videos! That might get some extra people to check this project out.

I CAN NOT WAIT for this cartoon. Next time maybe you can maybe have the goal higher from the start, use this cartoon as promotion, and try and get a whole season of cartoons (it can be shorter than a network season obviously). Or maybe I'm just being greedy ;). One at a time is fine too :) . Anything you do will be coveted by me and your legions of fans.

It will be awesome whatever happens, I'll bet you!

I don't know what a Deacon is, but my mother is one of those and is unable to operate a DVD player. It is a shame because she would enjoy your nipples. The point is, John, I'd be fine with naughty stuff on DVD. Though downloading extras would add to the dirtiness, which is also good.

Come on folks, time for the final push. Lets at least hit the making of level! 6K in two days, easy.

Awesome! I love the "making of" parts! :-)

Church LOL! I was going to show mine to the Pope and make Sody Pope.

Either/or sounds good to me! A hidden option on the DVD isn't a horrible idea though.

      I'm good with that, John.

you could make a secret button on the dvd for more shocking stuff, normally i'd make a little square of background into the button, and make that lead to a new menu, wouldn't be found by accident unless really unlucky... could include a 2nd hidden menu in that menu with the content to make it really really hidden
