About this project
Introducing The Wee-Glo Product Line!
Developed and patented to keep you and your pet visible at night!
Lights on, lights off, demonstration!
What is Wee-Glo? The Wee-Glo Pet Collars and Leads are made of 100% nylon. The white tracer yarns on each side go through my patented process allowing them the ability to glow for up to 12 hours. These yarns glow with as little as 10 minutes of charging under any light source. This product was originally developed and used in the Chrysler Stow & Go seating compartments of the Town & Country Mini Vans. Our glow product enabled children to evacuate in the event they became trapped inside of the compartment.
How does the glow work? The white yarns are coated utilizing a patented process we developed using photoluminescent pigments that are made from rare earth elements to activate alkali aluminate and silicate material through a hi-tech process. It absorbs light (natural day light or electrical lamp light) for about 10~20 minutes and then emits a visible light for more than 12 hours in the dark. It is free of radioactive and toxic materials and it is chemically stable. Its brightness and glow time are over 10 times higher than traditional luminous material represented by normal Glow products.
Prototypes of our Kick Starter project rewards!
The Wee-Glo pet line is currently available in black only, due to minimum run requirements from our vendors. Other color options may available in the future depending on funding levels. Stretch goals will be posted as funding levels rise.

How Wee-Glo started.
Wee-Glo started in 2001 shortly after the attacks on the world trade centers. Founder Michael Thomas worked diligently trying to create safety products to aid in safe evacuation from high rise buildings such as the World Trade Centers. More in regards to those products can be found on the Wave 3 video clip below. Michael has now taken that same technology and with the aid of his team created the Wee-Glo Pet Line.
Wee-Glo the project Start to Finish!
The first steps in manufacturing the Wee-Glo products will be to coat the natural nylon yarn fibers using our patented machine and process to allow the yarns to glow. That process will be done at pour facility in Oldham County KY. After the yarns are coated and tested they will be shipped to our processing plant where the yarns are combined with other nylon yarns and woven into finished flat webbing. The completed webbing is then shipped back to our facility for finial assembly and testing, prior to packaging and shipping.
Pictured below is the machine that turns normal yarns into glow in the dark yarn! This process is done at our facility in Oldham County KY. To see this exciting glow process in action, be sure to watch the main Kick Starter video at the top of the project page.

How the Kick Starter funds will be used
100% of the money raised will go towards the first production run of the Wee-Glo product lines. These funds will allow us to meet the minimum order requirements set by our vendors.
All of the product rewards above will be produced at our current location in Oldham County KY. Product production will begin upon the completion of this project. All attempts will be made to ship your rewards prior to Christmas. Orders will be shipped in the order they are received. If you are wanting these items for Christmas...Be the first to make a Pledge!
Risks and challenges
I have had other projects on Kick Starter. I am launching this project in a new / separate account to separate the two companies, as they are completely different in nature. I have had no issues fulfilling my obligations with other projects and have always completed rewards fulfillment prior to the estimated date that was listed.
I foresee no problems in fulfilling project obligations. I have 12 years prior experience and have worked with top labs around the world with this technology. Many of the materials needed for project fulfillment are already on hand. I have an experienced team ready and eager to get started.
The biggest challenge I foresee with this project would be pledge levels rising to an extreme level. In this event we may need to lengthen the promise dates on reward fulfillment. However, despite any level we will work diligently to insure your rewards are delivered in a timely manner and updates will be posted on a regular basis.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
