Psychobilly Tarot tee shirts- three card designs in Sepia
Help get three Psychobilly Tarot card designs printed on black tee shirts in sepia- gives them a great retro look yet keeps the details
I'm W. Kurt Wenz and I came up with a great idea. We used the themes and styles of psychobilly music to illustrate the cards of the Tarot's major arcana and produced a tarot deck. That was the first phase of the project. The second phase is to take the designs and start making shirts with them. This campaign is part of phase two.
The shirts will be short-sleeved preshrunk 100% cotton black tee shirts. They are light weight, soft and fitted. Please be aware they fit a little smaller than regular tee shirts and select your sizes accordingly. Available in both men's/unisex and women's styles.
They come in sizes small to double extra-large in both styles, and triple extra-large in the men's/unisex style only. The women's style is a scoop neck cut and will have a little deeper neckline than the mock ups.
The printing company I have selected is Renaissance Arts and Designs. Established in 1992, this company has a long track record of producing high quality prints, both their own designs and working with other artists. I have worked with them in the past and they are great people to work with.
Shipping- EU friendly
For U.S. backers, shipping is included in the basic cost of the reward level. I have selected a fulfillment company in France to work with so that EU backers will not have to pay any additional import fees or taxes. Due to the increased costs for international shipping, deliveries outside the United States additional money is required. Please look at each pledge level for the additional shipping.
What We Need
This campaign will run for 22 days and has a goal of $1,600.
Most of the funds will be used to pay for changes to the art work (optimize it for printing), the shirts, printing and shipping. Kickstarter will take it's percentage and marketing costs will also come from the funds raised. What ever is left over will go towards the next shirt design.
Other Ways You Can Help
Please share this campaign with everyone in all your social networks! Anyone interested in Tarot, Psychobilly or good old fashioned rock and roll music will love these shirts. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

W. Kurt Wenz- Born and raised in Florida, I grew up watching the best and longest running horror movie show- Dr. Paul Bearer's Creature Feature, and space shuttle launches. I’ve served on a howitzer crew, crafted and fought in my own set of armor and co-authored old school RPG adventures.
I have 20 years retail management experience, most of them in the pet trade, and 4 years experience in a screen print shop, both textile and flat work. I'm a voracious reader of science fiction and fantasy. I have an eclectic taste in music and, as you can tell, I’m an avid fan of psychobilly and neo-rockabilly. This is my second Kickstarter.

Aerosmith, Graceland, Prince and a slew of bands across America.
In his own words-"I got into art sideways, no schooling. An aunt of mine whom I thought was cool drew horses and liked The Rolling Stones & Johnny Cash. That was enough to set me on the path. Then I got good enough that chicks dug my work and people handed over cash.
Done, career path established.
From there on out, the artist Robert Williams kind of was my guiding light philosophically: “Take Mescaline and learn to draw eyeballs & skulls…”.
Pepper that with being a 3rd generation worker at Kennedy Space Center, where I got the technical side in photography and visualization down, and I developed a desire to communicate (with mostly eyeballs, spaceships & skulls…).
I turned my creative eye loose on highly, engineering oriented stuff, the best of both worlds, as a rat rod rocket artist…"
Risks and challenges
Producing tee shirts is a type of project we have experience with. World wide distribution is something that is still new to us, but we learned several lessons from the last Kickstarter project. We have made improvements to how we handle distribution out side of the United States. There is still the possibility that unforeseen events, costs and/or process hurdles will delay the rewards being sent to backers. In an effort to minimize this real possibility additional lead time has been added to the time line.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
