@Marten Hoekstra: Thanks for commenting! "Stalking" is an important part of kitty play behavior, it is very stimulating for cats and that's what you're seeing in parts of the video. Cat play behavior is unique to each and every little kitty and we are developing play modes with these early adopters so that we can offer you a sampling of play modes, customizable to your unique kitty. SHRU play modes can be configured via the SHRUPlay interface. :-)
@dirk: Thanks! We'll take the feedback into account. (That's user footage so unfortunately can't control the orientation. :-( Sorry! )
Great stuff, I would also welcome a slower speed, by the looks of it.
As an aside: Keep your phone in landscape orientation for increased youtube effectiveness :-)
I notice that the cats do not really play with it but mostly look and sniff and jump away when it comes in to their direction. Curious to see a video in which the cat really plays with it. Cats mostly play with dead toys like a rubber band or something round. Moving toys must be small and moving very slow so they can really attack like a lion.
If shru can be customized to every cat in speed and the way of interacting with the cat it will be great.
