Lucky’s Misadventures is a creative and unique twist on the typical deck building game and is set in a world unlike anything else.

  • Simultaneous play - All of the players are constantly involved so there's very little time to check your phone.
  • Fate cards - These change the game conditions each round in weird and wonderful ways.
  • Head-to-Head challenges - Play the strongest cards together to win the challenges and gain free cards.
  • Build Machines - Combine Junk cards to build cool steampunk machines with strong effects.
  • Instant Wins! - Gather the right cards at the right time and you can escape Oddtopia and instantly win the game!

And it features over 50 unique pieces of art and 233 cards. It plays 1 to 4 players and in 45 to 60 minutes. If you'd like to know more, check out the "How to Play" video:

Rahdo put Lucky's Misadventures on his Rahdo Runs Through > > > 2018 Games of Interest list saying: A deckbuilder with fantastic "old school Disney"-esque art, and a wizard of oz-esque setting. It all looks very nice, but what's more intriguing is that it's a simultaneous play deckbuilder, which could be a very interesting twist on the norm!

He'll be getting a review copy once you help make this game possible.

Jay Meyer (Game Design) - After creating games for his weekly game group for many years, Jay took the leap into publishing his own creations by founding Great Northern Games.  He succesfully funded Noble Treachery on Kickstarter in 2013 and then Council of Blackthorn in 2016. Now it's time for something completely different with Lucky's Misadventures.

Abigail Larson (Art) - Abigail is an award winning artist with a flair for the strange and archaic - a perfect fit for the world of Oddtopia.  She's been featured in many publications and games.  She did all the art for the Ally and Fate cards.  You can find more of her unique, gothic art here.

Michael D. Clarke (Art) - He's worked for Steve Jackson Games, Fantasy Flight Games and many others doing primarily fantasy art.  Michael worked on the box cover as well as all of the Junk and Machine card art.  Click here for more of his fantastic creations.

Peter Woken (Graphic Design) - Chances are high that you've played a game featuring his graphic design skills.  Peter worked with Great Northern Games on Council of Blackthorn and decided to jump through the portal again for Lucky.  Check out his long list of work here.

Quartermaster Logistics/Gamesquest/Snakes&Lattes (Fulfillment) - Quartermaster Logistics was created by the people behind CoolStuffInc (one of the biggest board game retailers in the US).  They will be handling all of the fulfillment for this campaign and will work with Gamesquest in the UK for EU fulfillment and Snakes&Lattes for Canada.

Cast of Dozens (Quality Assurance, Playtesting, Production, Audio Engineer, Camera Man, Key Grip, Editing, Legal, HR, & Everything Else) - Thanks to all the great people that helped make this game a reality.
