"Bach and Forth" - Saturday, April 20, 7:30 PM
This program will feature Bach’s Musical Offering, Telemann’s flute Fantasia, Graupner’s harpsichord Partita, and trio sonatas by Buxtehude and Quantz. Baroque violinist Daniel S. Lee, whose violino piccolo playing in Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto was praised for his “ravishing vehemence” by The New York Times, will also perform Erlebach’s sonata for violino piccolo.
We have had an exciting season so far, performing two sold-out concerts in New York and winning the Audience Prize at Early Music America's Baroque Performance Competition. Now we would like to give back! Join us for a benefit concert for Sandy relief efforts this coming Thursday, 11/29, 7:30 pm at All Angels Church, 251 W. 80th Street in Manhattan. The program will feature works by Biber, Colombi, Corelli, Falconieri, and Marais, as well as some other surprises!
Admission is free, all donations will go to the Episcopal Relief & Development Hurricane Sandy Response Fund.

Our next performance is this Saturday at 7 at Emanuel Lutheran Church (60 Church St., Manchester, CT), where we have been the resident ensemble since 2011.
Our next NYC appearance is on Wednesday, October 10, 7 pm at Corpus Christi Church (529 W. 121st St.). We will be performing as one of six finalists of Early Music America's Baroque Performance Competition. Reserve your tickets today!
