About this project
This spring, we self-released our debut EP, "Paintings", and are now ready for the next, huge step: to become a touring band. This August, we will fly from New York to California to purchase a band vehicle and complete a 2 week tour along the West coast, Canada, and back home to NYC. We would love nothing more than to be able to share our music by growing our fan base on the road. In order to do so, we need YOUR help! This Kickstarter is our "jumping off point" to help Emily Danger become mobile. With your help, we will be able to purchase a van and take the necessary next steps needed to be heard across the country.
Your pledges will help defer costs for:
- The Danger-mobile (used, safe, amazing touring vehicle)
- Gas, equipment needs, lodging, sustenance
-Flights out to CA, equipment shipping, checked equipment/instruments
- Publicity for all touring cities
- Things that will inevitably go wrong
Touring costs are often astronomical, especially for self-reliant, indie bands. To show our gratitude for your support we are offering many rewards including, but not limited to:
- CDs, T Shirts, and various Emily Danger merchandise
- Personalized songs and downloads
-Youtube cover songs of YOUR choice, dedicated to you!
- Artwork and lyrics associated with the "Paintings" EP
- Your own, personal, in-house concert and tickets to shows!
- See "rewards" section for the rest of the goods!
We are forever grateful to you, our fans and family, for being such an integral part of this next step. Thank you!

In 2011, Ryan Nearhoff and Emily Nicholas performed their first show with original music at the famed Duplex Cabaret Theater in Manhattan. Both artists wanted to branch out from their previous musical theater and operatic backgrounds and create music that could speak to listeners in a unique voice. Six months later, Cameron Orr, Colin Lime, and Coyote Anderson joined the duo and Emily Danger was born. All of the band members come from different musical backgrounds but share the same vision: to create music that is exquisitely singular and vastly different from the popular radio hits heard today.
