Quick Update on Shipping Timeline
Great news everybody. We received the new shipment of pogo pins right on schedule on Wednesday and the initial testing shows the quality of this new batch is very good. A small batch production of ZNAPS with the quality tested pogo pins will be made and tested very thoroughly. This batch consists of about 400 units of ZNAPS. We will send all of these units out right away early next week. We will then proceed carefully with mass production. The next batch we send out will be after the automatic assembly line is fully functional. We will keep everyone updated on our progress by posting updates here about every two weeks. We apologize again for the delays. We promise we will continue to do our best until ZNAPS is shipped to everyone. Thank you for your support, patience, and encouragement.

While I understand that Kickstarter is not an online shop and that I contributed to production of the ZNAPS, I also backed a Kickstarter project that promised an estimated delivery of Nov 2015, short of one month off of a year, I still have not gotten the ZNAPS. It has been so long at this point I do not even have a MicroUSB phone anymore. I am not going to the back of the list. I am respectfully and understandably requesting a refund.

@immo, do you think they have 3.000.000 laying around, just for refund? The money is used to produce or rather develop the ZNAPS. :)
When you buy product / give money to projects on Kickstarter you have to be patient, sometimes it takes longer than expected. I'll also bet that when you pledged you accepted that you can't get a refund :)

So i finally got the znaps i ordered. This ismy first thoughts on it:
First, one of the lightning pieces, will only work one way. Its not that big a problem, but just sad that it is not working 100%.
Secondly there is a large gap between the phone and the lightning piece. So it looks kinda wrong on the iPhone.
Third: Its not that easy to connect, you have to "work" a bit with the adapter to get it together. Its nothing like the magsafe. Im glad i did not pay more for this, because i dont think i will use this at all :( Note: I were really excited for the znaps to get here.
I hope znaps will take all the goods and bads from this project and develop a better znaps 2.

My ZNAPS arrived (yay!) and I do appreciate how the team stayed with the project all the way ... but ... they don't work. One of pair didn't work at all - the dongle that plugs in to the lightning port seems to be the problem since the other dongle worked with both adapters.
That said, the two parts don't hold together at all strongly and require fiddling and being delicate to make and keep the connection (in contrast to a real MagSafe connector). And then today the magnet ring came off and it now stuck to the other piece meaning their is nothing holding the two parts together.
So now I have 0/2 with my ZNAPS.
Overall I got my $10 worth just backing the project and watching the progress, but I have to say that all the delays and my encouragement to "just get it right" appears to be for nothing - they were delayed AND crap.

@Dennis (and everyone else with this BS) - YOU'RE WRONG. The terms clearly state (and Znaps knows this) that they must deliver a product or refund the money if they cannot. Dragging this out is simply irresponsible at best. Kickstarter simply hides behind these rules as they keep on making money from you and I. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and smarten up. Any other investment and this would have been a hostile takeover.

To those requesting refunds.......stop requesting refunds on this page. The only way to get a refund is to contact your credit card company and report it - they will then issue you with a refund. That's what I and quite a few others have done.

When you all are complaining about this (I'm also a frustrated backer) take a look at "Stone Tether" - literally raised millions and never delivered. Stopped updating and now looks to be out of business (with $3M+ in hand). Trust me, I have much more faith in this products because at least the creators are still engaged with the backers through updates.
