New Pledge Level & Long Beach Comic Expo!
Good morning, Villains & Henchmen! fans!
Villains & Henchmen! Print-And-Play Files
We are very excited to offer a new $10 pledge level that nets backers all the print-and-play files needed to create their own copy of Villains & Henchmen!. We had a few requests from international backers to make the game available outside the US and Canada. Because we have heard the pitfalls of international shipping, we wanted to offer a suitable compromise for the time being.
The print-and-play pledge level is that compromise! It makes the game available all over the world, without running the risk of any of our EU, Australia, or other backers getting hit with a crazy customs fee.
We will continue pursuing options for shipping the retail versions of the game to other countries, and if we find any solutions we'll be sure to announce it right away!
Anyone who backs at the $10 Hacker! level will receive the PDFs as soon as the campaign ends, meaning they can play right away!
If anyone wants both the P&P PDFs and a retail copy of V&H!, all they need to do is...
1. Pledge at the $40 Lackey! level
2. Add the shipping amount for their country of residence ($13 for US, $25 for Canada)
3. Add an additional $10 onto their pledge to over the P&P level
Backers at the $10 Hacker! level will get all the cards in the base game (216), plus any free stretch goals unlocked during the campaign, in the PDFs.
However, backers at the $10 Hacker! level are not eligible for the Paid Add-On stretch goals at this time. When we unlock those funding rewards, we'll discuss the plan for making the full expansions available to our P&P fans!
Long Beach Comic Expo
We'll be at Long Beach Comic Expo this Saturday, February 20th, to run demos of Villains & Henchmen! - and we'll be there all day long! So if you want a hands-on trial of the game, stop by the Gaming Area - and make sure to tell your friends if they're going to be at the event! :)
Another Villain-Themed Kickstarter!
We also wanted to give a quick shout-out for our fellow villainous game designers over at Obscure Reference Games. They're running their Kickstarter campaign for Overlords of Infamy - you should check it out!
