Dive Deeper! Go Fish with a Dungeon twist.
The game is simple and has been played for ages. The fish have vanished, and in their wake comes a line of RPG dungeon monsters.
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Sun, April 7 2019 3:34 PM UTC +00:00.
Take the plunge!
Dive Deeper is another exciting new look for the timeless game of Go Fish featuring some of your favorite RPG monsters. Card illustrations include some of your favorite oceanic dungeon dwellers you may remember from games such as D&D, Pathfinder and other fantasy RPGs. Great for playing at home, giving as gifts, or using in the classroom.
What's in the deck?
This deck will feature 13 RPG monsters in groups of four totaling 52 standard size playing cards. RPG monster cards include:
- Giant Crab
- Water Elemental
- Dragon Turtle
- Sea Hag
- Giant Clam
How do I play?
For 2 or more players ages 3 & up. Players shuffle the deck and draw 7 cards (for 2 player game, 5 cards is recommended for 3 or more). The goal is to match pairs (there are two pairs of each monster type). On your turn you may ask one player if they have a monster you are trying to match. If they have it, it becomes yours, if not, it's time for you to Dive Deeper! Once any one player is out of cards in their hand, the game is over. The player with the most matches is the winner.
Why do I want to do this?
As a father, I have noticed that there are not a lot of Dungeon themed games for smaller children so I wanted to have something easy and familiar to introduce my kids into the world of fantasy and role playing games in a fun, family friendly way.
What is Dig Deeper?
Last year I successfully launched my first set of cards, Dig Deeper. Now I am back hoping to create more creatures in a new setting. Join me as I tackle the deep seas and the dangers that await below.
Some feedback from Dig Deeper backers.
"This deck is a wonderful addition to my ever-growing collection; and I can't Thank You enough for creating it!"
"This is great! I can't wait to give it to my little nerdlet! :D"
"Received mine in Oregon, USA this week. Love the cards, love the game, love everything about them."
After the Kickstarter is over, your credit card will be charged for your pledge amount. A survey will be emailed to you shortly after to collect shipping information.
Thank you all for the support and hopefully we can make this a reality.
Risks and challenges
I will be printing cards with a company I have used before and have had zero problems with so I think we should be good. All art and layouts are done by me so we're good there ;)
