For those from the States, hope you had Happy Belated Thanksgiving! For everyone else, I hope November has been going great. Vince and I have been chugging along trying to wrap up fulfillment for this campaign.
Here's where we're at right now:
At this point I've shipped out most of the NA / Australia / Asia packages not containing the Zephyr Papercraft. That's probably another 500 on that end with another 300 or so based out of Europe.
Last week I sent over a package to Vince containing all of the various art prints and book plates he'll need to fulfill European orders. That package should arrive this week or early next, at which point he'll commence European shipment.
A major logistical roadblock shipping this package was the manufacture of the Collector's Edition book plate...
We had another delay caused by the Collector's Edition Book Plate. The proofs we got back from our first manufacturer were pretty lackluster so we went decided to source a new printer.
In the end we went with a letterpress print which is basically making a giant stamp out of metal:
That gets pressed into the paper which leaves an inked imprint on the paper.
Hand-glued and stamped. We decided on 80# cream slightly larger than a postcard. We're stamping exactly 1,000 of these.
We've more or less finalized the design of the Zephyr Papercraft!
Here's a look at it built
We're making some final adjustments on the instruction sheet. After that we'll release the PDFs and off to the printers ASAP. We'll then do final assembly in house and then ship out the remaining orders.
Roughly half of you opted to wait for the print version of the papercraft. We're on it hard. It's the last print challenge... we have about 600 of them to make.
Meanwhile, progress continues on the RPG! We've moved into internal beta on the RPG. It's going well so far and we're learning a lot of things. We need to playtest a lot more.
But it seems promising thus far...
This issue is pretty much good to go.
And we're in deep with the next! A lot centers on these three.
Get everything out by the holidays.
We're sprinting. Really hard.
Please. Let us know. Line's always open.
