A young adult novel
Falling Star is about a teenage girl, named Ella. She is from a small town where nothing new ever happens, and things rarely change. Her little world revolves around her best friend, Byron. He is the star of the school, until his path begins to darken. He begins distancing himself from Ella, while she tries to ignore his changing personality. Soon, Ella discovers that Byron has become depressed, but is it too late to save him? Or herself? Based on a true story.
When you can’t remember most of your life, you’d better be prepared for anything. The day a talking crow meets her on the way home from school, fourteen-year-old Rosinda is plunged into a forgotten world filled with startling revelations: magic ability flows in her veins, she’s most comfortable with a sword in her hand, and the responsibility for finding a missing prince rests solely with her.
A Hero's Curse is a novel about a twelve-year-old blind girl who discovers self-worth, courage and friendship in a perilous fantasy world as she learns what it means to choose to be a hero.
The story is a fast-paced adventure of pain and hope and heroism in the face of family cover ups, an unstable kingdom, a lost king and a vindictive daemon. And she happens to have a talking cat.
A Hero’s Curse is also about setting aside your own pain, and being a hero for someone else.
They're only $1800 from their goal, with six days to go. We think the themes in this book are really important for young readers, so please consider supporting this project!
Thanks for your time and support!
