“Forest Fortress” is the story of three hardworking friends set in the present day, rural landscape of the Pacific Northwest. This project is a feature length narrative that is being shot on 16mm film. One third of the project has already been shot and processed. Filming will resume during the last week of May and will be completed in June.
The production team hopes to have the film shot, processed and edited by August 1st, 2012. At this time, Forest Fortress will be submitted to film festivals all over the United States and Europe.
Be sure to take a look at the incentives on the right. Dinner with Steven Ginn at a fancy restaurant in Mississippi could be a life changing experience.
This project will only be funded if we are able to raise the full goal amount.
Thanks for your support.
Most of the money will go towards plane tickets, location rentals, film development, equipment rentals, editing costs, and food.
We like the way film looks, especially for the type of landscapes we are shooting. We also have some experience with film. We already own our own 16mm film camera so it was nearly the same price as shooting on a high end digital camera.
