Ey, i'm still game for the game when it comes out.
Pre-orders, beta testing, you got a community that's interested.
      that much is clear.

good look to all your endeavours team

@Alean Murphy Thanks for the news. Hopefully, they leave an update here when they do release the "first release" later this year.

    3. Xenophon on June 25, 2013

They are still working on the game!

    6. Céline .S. Sauvé on January 31, 2013

Hmm. Does the STEAM Greenlight mean anything for the possible life of this Project? I mean, will they be trying again, does STEAM provide any means of support or something?

      Congratulations on your Steam Greenlight!

    8. Antonio Chen on November 19, 2012

When Will this be up again. I know it that can be a stretch, but I will Back it once more!!!

    9. manio on October 19, 2012

Too bad. But don't lose faith guys, we can retry and do this . Also this needs more publicity , as Downer36 said , more projects without actual footage have succeed why not this?

    10. Øystein Heggestad on October 19, 2012

When will you guys gett paypal?
I got some "beer" money for u;)

So sad... I hope this project comes to live anyhow.

    12. Monty on October 19, 2012

I would say a second go around would suceed, it would certainly get a lot of backers straight up !

      Downer36 on October 18, 2012

I love how a game that does not actually contain game footage (Wastelands) gets a few million, yet a game with gameplay footage, working mechanics, and space, does not get 350,000. I hope you try again soon so I can give you money to make an awesome looking game!

    14. Barry on October 18, 2012

It's a pity this didn't make it, it caters to a great many of my criteria for a fantastic game!
Just tell me when and where I can support this, and I'll be there.

    15. Matthew Cisneros on October 18, 2012

You've got to be shitting me!? How could something like this not succeed? Shaking my head at Kickstarter community, right now...

    16. Ettore Gislon on October 18, 2012

Me a bit sad :C Oh well, I hope you'll still work on it and next time will be able to show some more gameplay so more people will want to pledge, I read many comments about how cool this looked but no idea on how it would play.

    17. Lewis on October 18, 2012

I don't want to be part of a community that didn't fund this! :) /drama

      Check you in the future.

    18. Jalister on October 18, 2012

@Night - Unsuccessful does not mean dead. They will continue on.

    19. Andrew Pierce on October 18, 2012

Bad luck with the kickstarter PixelFoundry :(, but I wish you well with future development and if you do release it you can count on a purchase from me :D.

    20. Joe Maron on October 18, 2012

Bummer! Hopefully you'll give it another try!

I am sorry to see that this project won't get backed this time around. Keep up the good work though. What you have so far is pretty epic!

    26. thenamelessone on October 18, 2012

It's a shame this project won't make it (this time at least). I hope you will try again, or at the very least continue with developing this game one way or another!

    27. Thane Armbruster on October 18, 2012

@quizzer: I'd pay $20 for half of this game! I personally think the game was underpriced.

but even doubling everyone's pledges would not be enough, sadly.

    28. Jalister on October 18, 2012

I have a tendency to drop projects in the last 10 minutes when they are definitely not going to reach there goal, only because I don't want to clutter my backer page. Blackspace will be one of my few exceptions. I don't want to miss any future updates that may get posted here, and it will be a nice visual reminder to check on the progress of Blackspace.

    31. Dodo Games on October 18, 2012

Hey, thank you guys, thanks Artem and Celine for it. Generally, we don't like when backers are posting in other project's comments our link, but guess here it won't cause any problems to Blackspace. Anyways, let's be polite and don't intrude other projects with our link. Thanks and sorry to Blackspace guys.

    32. Céline .S. Sauvé on October 18, 2012

@Artem Sure thing. Just give me my pledge again, and I'll hand that over to the project...

    33. Artem on October 18, 2012

It's so sad... Everything going to be not so optimistic... But I believe, that the team would relaunch the campaign and we'll strike the goal then!

By the way, to all, who is found of Space games, please look at the project. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dodogames/divine-space-sci-fi-space-arpg…

Maybe we could help Dodo Games team to born their baby? The goal is not so hight, but the project (Divine Space) is very ambitious and perspective. I'm sure, everyone would enjoy it!

    34. QuiZZer on October 18, 2012

@Jacob - If they cut their budget in half it'll be half the game. That's kind of the point of asking for funds, making sure you can actually create the content you are promising.

Sadly this seems to have stalled, but remember to send an e-mail to all backers when you find another way or kick it through Kickstarter again =)

    35. Jacob on October 18, 2012

@PixelFoundry-If you cut your budget in half we could all be friends...

    36. Artem on October 18, 2012

      Monty, it's great!

Hey, everyone! It's 4 hours to go, not too much time left, it's almost impossible, but if you don't risk to loose money why can't you dooble pledge? =)

    37. Artem on October 18, 2012

Hi Everyone! The project is very good! I wish you good luck in achieving your goal!!!

Hey Backers, Let's double pledge to help the project come alive, will we?

Dan Parsonson on October 18, 2012

Just want to add my own support for whatever plans you have in the future, be it a KS relaunch or whatever - please keep us posted and make this game if you can! :-)

    39. Monty on October 18, 2012

@Celine, no, but it probably will give them credit with would be publishers... just means that they lose a certain amount of creative freedom in exchange...

    40. Monty on October 18, 2012

Mind you if they reboot, then they will certainly hit the most popular list for a few days... if we all come back, then people seem to love to hop on a certain success....

    41. Céline .S. Sauvé on October 18, 2012

Gave it my support on Greenlight, though if they need $350k to _make_ the game, I really don't see what good that will do. STEAM doesn't do pre-orders that far in advance, do they?

Wow, I totally forgot about this... I gave it a boost but I don't think it will be nearly enough.

    45. Chris Kinder on October 17, 2012

Chris, I can't agree more. It's so sad to see that we may not get this project funded *fingers crossed* This project has everything...an amazing idea, gameplay footage, and plenty of updates. I've seen lots of projects that aren't nearly deserving get funding so it's such a huge shame that such a great deal won't get funded through Kickstarter. I also hope that you guys keep at this and make this game happen!!!

So sad that we not even halfway there with only 18 hours to go. Personally, I was not just backing this financially, but also emotionally, I told all my gamer friends, got them to back, but it does not look like it was enough, and its very depressing! When I first heard about this I had such high hopes, I was imagining all of the stretch goals that I was expecting to see attained, but as time went on, and the money never materialized it just got sadder and sadder.

To pixel foundry I just wanna say that I believe in your vision, I think your funding goal was completely justified, and I really hope to continue to hear about this project and your team.

    47. Nick Gary on October 17, 2012

I'll try to remain optimistic, but things don't look bright with 19 hours to go.

I will still follow this game regardless, so hopefully we can hear soon about plans for the game going forward; with 4,115 backers, there's clearly a bit of an audience here. We're rooting for ya!
