About this project
Undead Skirmish is an arena style dual joystick action game. All of the fighting is done completely with the two joysticks. Fight wave after wave of undead in the arena. Need a little more adventure in your life? In dungeon mode you can search the randomly generated dungeons for the key to the next level. See how far down you can get. Be cautious though, the necromancers minions will be hot on your heels every step of the way.

We have a playable demo of arena mode and dungeon mode. Check out our web build.
Have an OUYA? We have a demo submitted and it should be available in the next couple of days, so check back to try it on a console with a controller.
We should also have an updated version of the game on the Google Play Store soon as well, so look for an update to that. The update will include the new attack system.
Undead Skirmish will be available on the following platforms:
- The OUYA
Campaign mode will take you through five different arenas with different enemies all linked together by randomly generated dungeons. All the while the Necromancer and his assistant Watzup will be mocking your feeble attempts at survival.
Right now there are only two playable characters, the Wizard and the Warrior. With your help, we can expand that list. We want to add several more, including a kickstarter only character.
The warrior excels at hand to hand combat.
If those pesky skeleton mages get you down just shoot them with a blade beam.
If you get surrounded and you have the Combo Points to spare you can use the warriors most powerful attack to devastate your enemies.
If you are looking for something a little more magical, the wizard is what you want. Shoot fireballs at single targets, or shoot a beam attack and hit all the enemies in a single line.
Hit larger groups of enemies at once with the elemental wave attack
Alternatively you can save up your combo points and unleash the Wizards most powerful spells.
If you have read this far you probably want to know what we would do with this money. It comes down to this, Neither of us is an artist. That being the case we are not capable of creating our own 3d models. Nor do we have the time to do so with all of our efforts focused on other areas of design and development.
With that in mind, all of the money will go towards purchasing models to use as new playable characters and new enemies. We have chosen to purchase already made models instead of having several custom made models in order to keep costs down and speed up development time.
We have already picked the models we wish to purchase and have set our goal accordingly. We have left wiggle room for Kickstarters' cut and for slight variation in the price of the models over time.
Risks and challenges
We have a fairly ambitious release schedule. With the frame work for the game done. It only really becomes a matter of time until we are able to use your funding to implement the other playable characters. We have a lot of ideas for the campaign, we just have to nail down which ones work the best for this game.
So the most you should have to worry about here is if we miss our release date. As the project develops further we will keep everyone updated with our progress.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
