Update: We have reached our goal! Help us reach $1000 so we can submit to more festivals!

Darling is the story of a young girl who tries to cope with the recent death of her father by running away from home.

Here is the writer's description of Darling:
"The story for "Darling" came about accidentally and is the most difficult script I've written to date. Once I settled on the topic for the film, the subject matter was hard to grasp and portray visually in a way that made sense. In the end, the ideas fell together to form a fantastical drama that explores grief, imagination and the stillness of time. The inspiration came from the thought of being here one day and not the next, and how that affects your loved ones in life and in dreams. This film dives into the theme of past vs. present vs. future. Time is the most under-appreciated entity of our world."

We were able to produce Darling due to the generosity of people like you, who donated to our original Kickstarter project.

Why do we need your help?
Submitting films to festivals is expensive.  The fees to enter a short film ranges from $25 to $50 per festival.  Festivals receive thousands of entries, so the odds of our film getting accepted depends on the number of festivals we submit to.  Our goal is to submit to at least 20 festivals, but we can only reach that goal with your help.

Where will the money go?
5% goes to Kickstarter.
Between 3% and 5% goes to Amazon.
Around 10% will go to fulfilling the rewards.
The remaining 80% will go to entering Darling in as many festivals as we can.  The more you donate, the more festivals we can enter!
