Mad Cow Theatre is putting on a series of workshops over six weeks with the Boys and Girls clubs of Central Florida to help students develop their talents and put together their own Cabaret! Students will work with Instructors and professional Cabaret Artists performing in The 9th Annual Orlando Cabaret Festival to discover, experience, and rehearse their own performance. Instructors will work with students on vocal coaching, choreography, and stage direction to help them explore their interests and talents and encourage them to work together.
This project is a collaborative effort between Mad Cow Theatre and the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida. It is supported by The City of Orlando Mayor's Matching Grant program, but we need your help to make it happen! Your donation will bring professional Cabaret Artists to the kids, pay for instructors to work directly with students over the next 6 weeks, support the production of a final Cabaret performance at Mad Cow Theatre, provide a safe environment for students to develop their talents, foster increased self-esteem and enthusiasm, and provide exposure to the arts.
Many of these students would not have the opportunity to perform on stage if it weren't for projects like this - and their talent and enthusiasm deserves to be showcased!
All contributions received benefit A Boys and Girls Club Cabaret and The Orlando Cabaret Festival. The more we raise the more we can do for these kids - thank you for your support!
