I'm from the UK and have not received the copies of the book
@ Schmari - Sorry about the lateness. I checked and it looks like your info came in exactly when I was at GenCon so I missed the mail. I'm out of town now but can ship yours on Friday once I'm back home.
Still haven't received my copy...
@leonardo - As soon as the backers who bought copies for sale announce where to buy books I'll run an update here.
The next book will be a Kickstarter project. And there will be an option in the next project to get the first and second book.
Thanks Philip i have my copy, great job!!! my friends in mexico, peru ,argentina, colombia asking...how i can get one? and my question is the vol II is a kickstarter project too?? thanks i like so mouch the book!!
Great job on the book Phil!!
Got mine on Monday. Looks good. looking forward to the sequel.
@Mark and Andrew - You guys keep saying nice things like that and you'll make me wish my job was to sit at home and publish books about toys. Thank you!
Got my book last week, thanks a lot! It looks great!
I receive my book in MD this past Saturday. Thanks Philip, it looks amazing!
@Greg M - Thank you, Greg! I've got a few different toy book projects at various stages. A Glyos book, an idea for a Kenner book . . . and a sequel to this book! I wanted this one to feel like a professional work and plan to use this same size and format for other books.
The book arrived and it's great. Like Tekwych, I will be checking it out in more detail this weekend, but wanted to let you know I received it and to say I think it's extremely well done.
Can't wait for the next Phil Reed Kickstarter! 8-)
@ Tekwych - Great news! And thanks, I hope it's as professional as we could hope for.
They are HERE! looks great Philip. Just a quick thumb through but very nice. Hopefully I'll get to read it this weekend.
P45. Eyesight has a page reference that is unknown. Either P37 or P36.
P45, reference to CrazyDevy and normal rifle.
I believe P37 is CrazyDevy, P36 is normal.
P44, "Neckbreaker, like Exgraver (see p. 00)
Should be "Neckbreaker, like Exgraver (see p. 42)
No problem, I'm looking forward to writing the wiki page on the book, and using the book as a citation in the articles about third party Transformers. I hope we can get some of the people interested in the book to edit on the Wikialpha pages too. I am keenly interested in 3rd party Transformers, but have a VERY limited budget, so I can't own most of them.
Thanks, Mathew! I plan for there to be a little time for a proofing phase when everyone gets to see the PDF and tell me where my typos are. I'll make that fix now.
I'm a bit of a proofreader, FYI, Hasbro has always used "Triple Changer" (caps and two words) not "triplechanger' (lowercase and one word).
@PR - I am in iTunes under Geek Acres or directly at Geek Acres dot Net. I ended up having to bump recording till tonight(Monday). Work stuff, and all that. So, hopefully be able to send at least a few folks your way while there is still time ! M0@R P4G35 !!!!1!!
@Doug - I also want more pages. And sorry, I just never got a good recording for you and then got distracted and forgot all about it. What's the link to your podcast?
@Protoman - Thanks for helping out and getting us to this point!
Congrats on getting $4000, let's keep on going.
And we've topped FOUR GRAND ! I really want m0@r p4g35, though. C'mon $7500 !!! To that end, I'm recording my podcast later today and intend to chat up the book, along with the NJCC that hits in about two weeks. What is it about plastic crack and the fall ??? C'mon folks. One week to go... lets rally the troops.
@Sam - Thanks, Sam. The outline will be completed when the project ends and I have a final page count.
Really like the idea of this project. Question though- Have you done the framework for the book yet or are you just going to make it after the pledges?
@Greg - Thanks for joining, Greg! I doubt we'll see anything like the success we got with Ogre. But I really appreciate your support on this.
Just read the Daily Illuminator, saw another Kickstarter with Philip Reed which triggered a bunch of great memories from the Ogre campaign and am now in as a Generation One Defender. I am looking forward to the book!
@Doug - Thank you for joining us, Doug. I hope you found the podcast a fun listen. Vangelus was great at steering us back to the topic we were supposed to focus on.
Thanks to the TFW podcast for putting me on to this one ! Can't wait to get the book. Hope we can 'stretch' it up to the next page-increase.
@Protoman - Thank you for backing! And I see now we've just hit $3,000 and unlocked the next stretch goal!
Keep it coming guys, you have my full help and support
@Dana - Thank you, Dana. Hopefully we will get more backers so we can unlock more stretch goals.
Wow congrats on being funded already! Great book idea obviously!
@Rickard - Thanks! I hope you enjoy the project over the next few weeks and the book once it is completed. I'll be posting new material as often as I can between now and when the project closes.
Im a transformer fan and this seems cool so therefore I decided to support this, also it will be cool to have a book filled with fun transforming bots :D
