      @MasterVault: at the same time, they haven't shown us molds for the "roof" and the bed, the first one can simply be laser cut acrylic the bed I don't know, but it could be something similar.

      Dear friends, resulting from an other Kickstarter backing, I want to tell you my unhappy experiences about an failed delivery to Germany, massively disturbed by customs. First of all, there has to be a remark onto the paket, telling, that the contend of this paket is an private gift.
      Therefore it would be negative if you say, that XXX Inc. is sending the paket! Furthermore, you should state the value of the gift. Up to 45 EURO incl. foreign VAT the paket would be free of Customs duty for a private delivery. Up to 22 EURO incl. foreign VAT the paket would be free of Customs duty for a even a companys delivery. For a value between 22 and 150 EURO incl. foreign VAT the paket would be free of Customs duty, however import VAT will apply. Very important is furthermore, that any electronic device would be delivered with an Certificate of Conformity, an Manual in german language and as well an invoice, that carries the amount of value, that has been printed on the outside of the box, because customs may open the box and verify ... Thanks for your time. Take care, Hartmut

      @Manoel Trapier
      Roof frame of proto-one looks like acrylic (the final one could change).

      @MasterVault Good question! @Manoel Trapier You are absolute right, it is ABS!

    7. Manoël Trapier on

      I never saw moulded acrylic and ABS is extremely cheap

      In what material will be made the final printer? ABS and acrylic?

      So the 3D "rendering" are the mold for the mobile part of each axis, en the shell for each axis, the "exiting" mold are for the arms, and the controller board.

      Am I right?
