I feel that at ths low price point and a great introduction to 3D printing, I'd suggest off colors. Bright/candy red, lime green, "Sonic" blue, colors like this. Of course, this would only be useful if the color is cheap to produce. I actually like the color as it stands. It might even be more interesting to include small "notches" on the device with STL files pre-designed so that persons could accent their printer using filament of their own construction. Think of it like bedazzling for this product. This would be welcomed for a younger audience who I think could benefit from this low priced hobby.
That's just my 2 cents. (Candy Red is my favorite for this however.)

@Creator @101Hero - Heated Bed, included or stretch goal?

Max Printing speed? - Nozzle(metal or plastique?) diameter?

      Thanks, Good Luck,

How or when will we get to choose the color? It sounds interesting.

@Timothy Lose things being made with it, videos of it working with developer programs, etc..

Looking good guys, keep on doing what you do best. Color options is a good idea in the longer run but keep focus on making a product you can start with. I have faith in you, keep up the awesome!

Please don't worry about stretch goals, they're a trap that can set back projects. I'm OK with any colour, I will just be happy to receive the machine.

@101Hero Colors would be great, I'd love something in blue. Make sure you don't overexert your project by worrying about stretch goals. Put the extra money into making the 101Hero the best it can possibly be!

@Daniel Fallas The campaign isn't even over yet, what are you expecting an update on?

    9. Daniel Fallas on

Think I might pull my pledge if I don't see an actual update next time.

Please stop recommending other projects. Or at least you can back them. You don't have any project backed...
Add more pictures of prototype and printed objects.

Seems less of an update and more of an advertisement for other KS projects.

@JJ My bad, I should have gone through the main page again. That's a pretty good video and good results.

    13. JJ on

@Thiago. They posted a video of the printer in action on the main campaign page ages ago.

Please do try to post a video of the printer in action printing anything as soon as possible, or if the prototype isn't able to do so at the moment, please post saying so and why. You've been promising a video for more than a week now, and it's starting to look you can't. Even a poor cellphone video of the printer would be a lot more positive now than continue delaying this.

I like the color option idea, thank you for the update. I'm really looking forward to information on how large of an object can be printed.

Great to hear you are thinking about color options. I would really appreciate that, and since you should be able to use the same molds, it would not be too much of a problem I guess (I have no knowledge about production processes though).
However I fear that cross-promo, especially this heavy (there are eight suggestions in this update) might damage your reputation a bit - at least that is what I experienced in the Trinus 3D campaign. While I personally don't mind as long as you keep focusing on your own project, some people could assume you just want to make as much money now, just to leave the backers behind with a bad product or even not a product at all. So please keep that in mind when writing up new updates and/or cross-promos.

Oh, and the prototype looks good! Great to see some progress here.
