ABOUT THE GAME
Sun Rush is a strategy board game that challenges players to take advantage of a constantly changing playing space. With the ability to maneuver and attack ships, deploy drone armadas, juggle heavy bombs, and build Action Point-buffing fleet formations, players will have a lot to consider on every turn they take.
Each player will begin by choosing a ship to represent them. Ships carry bombs by default, but a player can drop the bomb off to give themselves a little bit more maneuverability. Ships can move in any direction and can attack the ships of other players if they can get close enough.
Each player is in command of a drone armada that can be strategically positioned to block opponents or to build up extra Action Points to use on a future turn. You'll have a limited supply so deploy them carefully!
Sun Rush takes place in deep space between a newly discovered solar system and a super massive wormhole. Each round, after all players have taken their turn, the wormhole pulls the entire playing space down, warping any drones and bombs on the bottom row up to the top row near the solar system. If a player ship is caught on the bottom row, they are destroyed by the wormhole and that player is out of the game. Be the first player to carry a bomb all the way into the solar system or be the last player alive to win the game!
WHAT YOU GET
The base game comes with a game board, 4 player ship pieces, 40 drone tokens (10 for each player), 4 bomb tokens, and 11 row pieces that slot into the board to allow the wormhole to warp the playing space. The base game also comes with a logo sticker.
SUN RUSH STRETCH GOAL
If this campaign manages to hit 200% funded, each copy of the game will include 4 Action Point Trackers- one per player ship. These point trackers are absolutely not required to enjoy the base game but they will help players keep up with the number of Action Points they will have to spend each turn. They also offer a bit of information on the world and culture of each ship. The example above is not final and may change before shipment.

Sun Rush is a project that has been in development for nearly 5 years. In that time, it has changed dramatically in scope, scale, and design. What you are being offered through this campaign is the result of a lengthy iterative process and collaborations with talented artists and designers.
By contributing to the Sun Rush campaign, you're helping me reach out to publishers to get this game and all future games made and available to the whole world. This means that the versions of Sun Rush produced for this campaign will likely be unique and unavailable to others in the future.
Another benefit of helping to fund this project is that your input is appreciated and will be considered a top priority for me as I finalize the design and prepare the game to be released. If you feel that some part of Sun Rush could be made better, I want to hear about it. Risks and challenges
Due to the lengthy nature of Sun Rush's development up to this point, many of the unexpected struggles that accompany every game release have already been accounted for. Though I expect a fast and smooth launch, there are a few possible speed bumps that may interrupt our flow. Firstly, working with print shops means that you are competing for their time with every other customer of theirs. My work with Wonderpress Printing has been ideal and I expect that they will continue to produce the stellar quality of work for which they are known. Secondly, in the event that deluxe versions of Sun Rush are ordered through this campaign, I may end up cutting off a finger or two.
