by TreeFall Studios
A gaming experience that has the story, look, and feel of an RPG, with the jumping and puzzle solving mechanics of a 3D platformer.
Funding for this project was canceled by the project creator on March 5, 2014.
Use this space to cheer the creator along, ask questions, and talk to your fellow backers. Please remember to be respectful and considerate. Thanks!
@Ruben Felip The kickstarter has not gained momentum and it looks as if the project will not reach it's goal. Kickstarter does not take your money unless a project is 100 percent funded, so you will not be charged and have not been charged yet so absolutely nothing will happen to your money!:) We do agree and have seen that project does not look like it is going to be funded, so after a few more days, possibly a week or two, we will take the project down if it has no change. We will be launching a new Wii U title, exclusive to the system, that will be a much smaller project with a much smaller goal. I will develop this title while my team and I continue to work on Forbidden Sanctity and we will relaunch the Kickstarter campaign in a few months after we have more gameplay and content! If this plan becomes reality we will have our new campaign on another crowdfunding site called IndieGoGo. We would love to have all the backers of this project support the new one when we launch it! It will be available on the Nintendo eShop much sooner, around or before the month of May most likely! We will be updating on the status of this campaign, game, and our new project very shortly! Thanks for all your support!
Question: sadly the kickstarter has not yet gained a lot of momentum. What happens to our money/ your game if the project fails?
The game sounds awesome
@Jessi Hey Jessi! We are glad that you are excited for a Wii U adventure! Thanks so much for your support! :D
Hey guys! I just found your project today. I am always happy to back a game designed specifically for Wii U. Looking forward to seeing how this title turns out! :)
@DigitalGreenTea we are so glad that you are looking forward to the game! Thank you! @Ruben Felip Yes! Getting the word out to everyone is essential! A good way to share, is to let your facebook and twitter friends know by sharing the project! Also if you have good friends who might be interested in the game, you could always send the project their way! @Russell Harvey Thanks so much! :D
I agree with you guys, and thank you for showing enthusiasm, green tea!
There are even more avenues for visibility out there, and those will definitely be a plus when there is new content to show! I'm looking forward to where this is going, and hopefully they can have a steady flow of backers.
Sweet! Now we just need to figure out how to let people know about this project!
Dear TreeFall Studios,
I'm now a backer of your project. It seems very interesting, despite you haven't really shown much gameplay, I have an open mind about it & I'm interested to see how it will play like at the end of it's development cycle. So far, the locations & characters are looking good, and the title being an RPG as well as a 3D platformer is an interesting concept too. I wish you a lot of luck with Forbidden Sanctity. (I'm looking forward to playing it on my Wii U. :) )
Awesome!! I am so great! Please spread the word anywhere you can! I have tried to contact IGN writers through some tweets but no response yet! :P We hope to show some new very cool things soon!
Awesome! From what I have seen, people are liking the ambition of this project! I have created a thread on IGN about this and gamers seem to be excited about what you are doing. Keep it up! :D
@Puffball We also have an interview coming up with www.purenintendo.com coming soon as well!
@Puffball I am so glad you enjoyed the interview!! I had a blast doing it! I hope people do find out! :D We definitely plan to try to have a gameplay trailer by next week! We might have launched a little early since we have no gameplay, but we thought people would love the concept! Believe in our gameplay! :D Haha! We are working everyday to bring new updates and get farther along in the development of the game!
I loved the interview you guys did with the website! I would try to do this with as many websites as you can so can spread the word about this game. I really do believe that once games find out that this game is like Jak and Xenoblade, they would immediately fund this project! Also, do you guys think we will see any type of gameplay footage before the kickstarter is over?
@Ruben Felip Sorry for the late response! Been pretty busy recently! We will send out a questionnaire for you to fill out for your character! It will be a NPC, who owns a shop in the game! You can name the character after yourself, and select his or her characteristics! This will be included in the actual game, for everyone to see! Not just yours!:) @PinchiCain I am glad you find the project appealing! We hope so too! Thanks for your support!
I have a question. When you say we will receive a character who owns a shop, do you mean you will make an NPC in our honor? Or my individual copy of the game will have a special shop? Or none of the above? How exactly will it work out?
This looks right up my alley. I wish you success with this project. More than that, I hope you get more than enough funds to make this game the best that it can be.
@Puffball I am glad you like the revised version even better! That is what we hope to portray! Sorry we were not clear enough the first time! Yes we have actually! Quite a few, and need to get in contact with a lot more! :D I (Eli) have an interview with NintendoEnthusiast coming up this week and another scheduled with Pure Nintendo! Hopefully we can reach more sites to spread the word! If everyone also shares the campaign we should reach a lot of people! Thanks for trying and your support! :D
The gameplay description sounds even better then before, nice job revising it! Also, have you talked to any websites to apread the new of he kickstarter?? I have been trying around but as always, a lot of websites wont advertise a kickstarter unless a major publisher is doing it or a legendary game developer is sponsoring it...
@Ruben Felip Well I hope we have improved a little! We have redone a little bit off the campaign, I have written a new description under the gameplay section and moved it slightly higher on the page! :D
Lol there's no need to apologize to me! I just want to help you better explain the game so more people might get interested
@Ruben Felip Ah! Sorry to hear that people are put off because we do not have gameplay footage shown yet. We will work on presenting a better explanation of the type of gameplay later tonight! We will try to put together a video that clearly explains what the gameplay will be like if that helps!
So apparently many people are put off because there is very little gameplay shown. I know you guys are working hard on a limited budget, but can you explain in a somewhat sinthetizised way what do you plan for the game? How will the combat work? Will we level up?
I'm not sorry at all. The other kickstarter was very successful and my lack of support won't make a difference. But I don't have a PC so doesn't really make much sense to support a game I won't play. This on the other hand ... Lol! Either way thanks for supporting the Wii U! Just keep getting the news out there!
@Ruben Felip We are also sorry you had to cancel a pledge, but thank you so much for your support of this project!
Our goal is to unite Wii U owners! We love the Wii U and hope to create a one of kind experience on the system! We are really glad you are interested in the project so far! Thanks for your support!
If you guys are interested in games guaranteed to come to Wii U, check out ReVeN if you're not already backing. Finally 2 days of the campaign.
I mentioned Forbidden Sanctity on the comments there as well. :)
Sorry, due to tough times I can only contribute $15, but I will try my best to spread the word about this project to all the gaming websites I know, specifically websites that talk about Nintendo specific news!
Hey guys! Just canceled my pledge to darkest dungeon to support this project. As I see it, a game that is certain to come to the Wii U is better than a game that only might come to the Wii U. Either way, Wii U owners everywhere unite!
Hello everyone! So glad to see that people are sharing the project and enjoying it so far! Much more to come as this is in very early development, the very beginning stages! Thanks for all your support so much!
I heard about this from nintendoeverything.com, so it's already covered there.
Just shared news of this at Pure Nintendo ...
Gonna spread the word elsewhere as well. Let's get the ball rolling on this!
Would love to see this explode and meet the target goal and beyond. Make sure you guys share this project!
Mighty No. 9th backer!! Glad to see devs taking advantage of the Unity engine and wanting to fully integrate the gamepad.
seems interesting enough. If I were to give advice, I would say that based on the trailer, the area that needs the most working on is the audio department. The music I heard sounds unfinished, and unrefined, and to be honest, pretty cliche. But I'm just the constructive criticism guy. you don't have to listen to me
