10 Days To Go!

This marks the project being ⅔'s of the way complete!

I had some brilliant suggestions from my backers some examples were a 'Zero of Hearts', Card with the box art, inverted color card and a few other gems. After speaking with the person who pledged to help design the card we took a few ideas from suggestions and he already had a brilliant idea and this is what we came up with. The card we came up with is 'The Executioner'. What evil kingdom would be complete without a weekly beheading?!? The Executioner is perfect for games with trumps and it makes a great card to switch to during a slight of hand routine. This card along with a 'Double Backer' will be included with every deck.

This is my third Kickstarter project and I have noticed a trend; the middle part of funding is a bit slower. We all know now that the deck will be produced and the rate that pledges come in have slowed down. The real excitement starts up again about 72 hours before funding ends. The numbers will jump up again and comments and questions start flying at me again! I have a few plans for the last three days of funding which you'll need to check back in here to see what will be up for grabs.

I will be sending out a survey to gather your shipping and pledge information after the project has successfully funded. While the funding ends in 10 days, I will not be sending it out until the cards are almost finished being produced by Bicycle. I'm waiting as long as possible because I've learned that many people move apartments, dorms and homes throughout the year. The survey (sent by Kickstarter) will have basic information I need to complete your rewards, such as: mailing address, dice color, and other special instructions I might need. We won't have to worry about this for a few months though.

That's it for this update, thanks again for supporting me!

- Russell

      I just allowed 10 more uncut sheets up for grabs! Want extra decks wit them? Just add $6 per deck if you are in the USA/CAN or $7 per deck if you are international.

      It's a little hectic this weekend, I promise to have an update either later today or tomorrow.

      @Kyle - I think i's an X for eXecutioner, not a 10. I could be wrong though.

      I just noticed something that makes me like this card even more... Brimstone has the ten of falling diamonds, Quicksilver has the ten of axes, so in each deck it's possible to get five of a kind playing poker or any other matching game. I wonder what the next deck will have...

      Beau, the money you have pledged will be drawn out of your account right after the projects ends on Sept 19th.

      I really liked the idea of a 0 of hearts, but still looks good!

      Just wondering when the money will be put through?

      I like it, but I would like it more if the large axes matched the small axes like a typical suit would do... But really, great work!

      You've got reward levels "get as much as you want". You may want to know in advance how many did those order..

      Awesome, very pleased with that. Now just need to work out a routine to use it in....
