There you go Dave! If you don't like the way they do things then stop backing them. That's an appropriate response.

Game is currently sold on for 10 euro. Seems that it is not very successful.

All things Walt and Dave said are true.

    6. Dave Katleman

@Justin I expect updates for a given project to be about the project I backed, not a vector to sell me on their new projects. The last three updates have nothing to do with Treasure Hunter, they are just announcing new projects, unrelated to Treasure Hunter.

If it was an expansion to TH, great, or fixes to the game fine. But they are neither.

Yes, I can block notifications from the project Treasure Hunter, but then I lose insight into specific news about Treasure Hunter.

Walt is correct, Queen uses previous projects to spam announcements about their new products. They are a major game company, they should ask folks if they want to subscribe to a new announcements list rather than just blindly spam.

I have stopped backing their projects for that reason, and that they simply pre sell existing products in production, have a poor record of communication, and mismange schedules (Wallenstein)

    7. Justin
      on January 4, 2016

@Walt - LOL! Are you serious? All you're doing is blocking Kickstarter. QG doesn't send those out, Kickstarter does. If you no longer want notifications from old projects then turn off the notifications for those projects in your Kickstarter settings.

It's YOUR responsibility to learn how to properly use Kickstarter.

Keep up the notifications QG, most of us appreciate them!

      Queen Games:

It's 2015 (almost 2016) have GOT to figure out a way to consolidate the backer lists for all of your Kickstarter projects into one master list, so that when you send out e-mail to announce a new project (which I won't be backing, btw), I DO NOT receive 6 of the same e-mail. FYI, I have flagged all of those e-mails as spam and will continue to do so until you stop filling up my mailbox with repeated e-mails.

Is there anything I can do about a a damaged box? It came with a slight crushed corner which split the inner box corner the whole way.

Yep, I saw the game in stock at my local game store last week. Cheaper than I paid for it here. The customer service along with this are utterly pathetic.

@Jonathan... well you got more information than i did Hopefully it's true and the Tracking numbers do go live soon. Here's hoping we both get our games very soon.

@Andrew Cotton - I was in same boat (Canada) - I got a response from ShipNaked that the Canadian deliveries were going across the border by freight and would then be processed by Fedex. The tracking is supposed to go live soon.

It is however unfortunate that many of the online retailers I deal with have had the game in stock for upwards of a week now and at a cheaper price than I paid here...

    19. Andrew Cotton
      on November 12, 2015

Ship Naked isn't helpful the tracking number they sent me November 4th has yet to show anything other than the label being created. I asked them about this and I have been told Fedex doesn't always update to be patient. I was in shipping for 10 years and Fedex scans packages at every stop. I feel like I'm being lied to and I don't find their level of customer service helpful!

Just got my copy in Richmond, VA! I'm super excited to play! Everything looks great except the slight discoloration that's been mentioned, but that won't bother my group at all!

I will contact you in the next days. Message responding is a little bit delayed because we were very busy packing stuff for other KS projects.
I will contact you by email. This has to be a production error.

      Game looks great.

Though I am missing my Queenie Expansion and my Expansion 1 doesn't have the 10 cards - was there a change in the expansion that dropped the cards?

    25. Andrew Spilman
      on November 6, 2015

Received game. Played with my kids tonight; it was a hit. HOWEVER, the game board IS NOT double-sided and some of the copper coins are not also. Looks like a production error. Because of this there is no score track included in the game. Any one else find this issue?

I noticed that too but figured it wouldn't be a game play issue, just an aesthetics issue. I like the expansion color better. Things like this make me question Richard's name even being on the box. Between this game being a Tschak ripoff, the facts that Queenie #1 was ALWAYS going to be made, the lies about the artwork being started on for the stretch goals when it was already long done (Queenie #1)..... this all just reeks of publisher nonsense.

My guess is we'll dump the original tiles and just use the expansion + queenie

    29. Dave Katleman
      on November 6, 2015

Positive: game arrived today in Northern California, undamaged.

Negative: the backs of the Goblin tiles are NOTICEABLY different colors, which isn't a problem for Goblin's Loot expansion because you swap out all the base game tiles. But it is a huge problem with Queenie 1: Band of Goblins, since you shuffle the 6 new Goblins into the basic game. Huge fail. One would have thought MAYBE Richard Garfield would know something about color fidelity after 20+ years of MtG, and been able to advise Queen that hey, getting the addon colors right is important.

"takes a lot of carelessness in packing to damage the them. "

Not really. Their boxes are very weak. The material is super thick but the corners are nothing but paper. I've gotten busted corners on:

      Escape Big Box
      Chicago Express
Whatever the other German Railways one is...

Don't even get me started on that joke of a perforated insert they use. I've gotten a few of those blown out too because of big card decks getting thrashed around in the box.

    36. Chad Brozik on November 3, 2015

Arrived today, two box corners blown out...packing was non-existent.
Queen boxes are generally some of the best, takes a lot of carelessness in packing to damage the them.
What is the -10 treasure tile stuck in with the Queenie?

Got mine today in CA. Components are great. Top notch. I just wish QG would ditch these garbage inserts. Seriously? 2 large trays to store 16 different components? There's no reason they couldn't have designed a plastic insert that held everything properly. I'd gladly pay more to have it done right.
