London Markets by Queen Games and designer Michael Schacht puts 3 - 4 players in the roles of Merchants and assistants trying to earn the most profit for their goods. The game plays in 45 min. and is recommended for players aged 12 +. The player that can navigate the markets with ease, to be in the right place at the right time, to earn the most profit will become the most respected Merchant of the London Markets. The game is a revised and re-themed edition of "Dschunke" ( Nominated for the German game of the year award in 2002)
London, 19th century: Under Queen Victoria’s reign, trade of exotic goods in the United Kingdom has blossomed, with china, soap, silk and coffee being traded for top prices at London’s markets. Be sure to get your share of the profits to become the most renowned merchandiser in London.
Players assume the roles of merchants and their assistants to sell goods in the 5 famous markets of London. Through clever use of the merchants and assistants at the different markets, and smart acquisition of goods at the daily auctions, you’ll earn the profits you need to win the game!
There are 80 crate strips in 4 player colors. The crate strips are what you will be loading into Markets in order to to gain the most benefits of the merchant and assistant actions in the different markets.
Depending on what merchant you choose, you get a different action:
Assistants have their very own track and their actions change from round to round.
Once a Merchant action or an Assistants action is taken their disc is turned over to indicate their action has been used and is no longer available this round.
Timing is everything!
Goods cards are used for bidding and can get you big money or special cards, that can allow you to get extra benefits and more points.
There are 4 goods types and an all goods card.
What you can receive if you win a bet is shown on the market card. The Market card changes from round to round. What profit you get
Chose your actions wisely and cleverly calculate your bidding in the auction phase and you will have the most money at the end of the game!
For a more in depth look the rules will be posted in an update.

All additional costs that may occur because of custom duty or local charges are the backers responsibility.
Brazil, Russia and Ukraine
Due to the high customs charges and delivery challenges we no longer ship to Brazil, Russia or Ukraine. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Risks and challenges
London Markets (AKA: Dschunk) is one of our classics. Not only re themed, but Michael Schacht has updated the rules. We are very excited to present it here on Kickstarter as a special kickstarter offer!
Kansas Pacific : Printing is due within the next 14 days.
Everything Alhambra, Push a Monster & Chef Alfredo, Parfum and Queen's Architect -- Shipping completed.
Lancaster BB, Wallenstein and Shogun Big Box : are in schedule as planned.
Our toughest challenge with our previous projects has involved the coordination of production when a game is made with components from different manufacturers. This creates some logistics and shipping challenges that we want to improve upon. Going forward our plan is to minimize this situation so that we can better manage our production timeline and delivery.
Due to circumstances out of our control like extreme weather delays of 2-3 months or longer can occur in individual cases.
Due to shipping time (ocean transit, customs, rail/truck, and final delivery), our release policy for Kickstarter Games releases is that they will be released in the EU when they are available since we produce in Holland. The USA will be 8-10 weeks after EU and for backers everywhere else including Canada could be 10-12 weeks or longer from the EU launch.
