LANCASTER GAME REVIEW
Thank you to Tom Vasel (BGG name TomVasel) for the permission to provide a link here to his review of the game.
EDO GAME REVIEW
Thank you to Richard Ham (BGG name Rahdo) for the permission to provide a link here to his excellent walk-through of the game (note - this is a 48 minute video :-)) This video includes the expansion "New Laws" so you can see some of the new laws and how they add to the gameplay.
The journey to power can be achieved by developing your own knighthood as well as by cleverly deploying your knights in the counties of England, your own castle, and to conflicts in France. In parliament, push for the passing of laws that will benefit you most. The player with the most power (power points) at the end of the game is the winner.
Every turn, players send their knights to the different locations: • Counties, where they compete with knights from other players for rewards and the favor of the nobles. • The castle, to receive income or new knights. • Into conflict with France, where all players combine their power and try to gain power points. In the counties the strength of the knights is important as you can remove the knight of another player by placing a knight of your own with higher strength in the same location.
Lancaster: The New Laws introduces 18 new laws for the Lancaster board game on which the players can vote. These law cards can replace those in the original game or be mixed with them.
Lancaster: Henry V - The Power of the King, consists of two expansions that can be added to the game either independently or in combination. When used together, eight new laws (which reference materials in the expansion) can also be added to the game.
With At the King's Court, new offices are available to be filled, with the Lords (i.e., the players) applying for them in search of power and privileges. Each player receives a token representing himself, the Lord of his land, and to claim these offices they'll need to bring the Lord token – along with supporting knights and a particular form of tribute, such as a voting marker or gold – to the office in question, whether Lord High Chancellor, Lord High Constable or Great Lord Chamberlain. If you win the position, you'll collect official seals, an archer to use in battle against France, or the first Tudor knight in England. When you upgrade a knight, you may now collect a bishop – and the number of bishops you hold is multiplied by the seals you've acquired for an endgame bonus.
With The King's Resentment, the players now feel the king's wrath after each lost conflict. Lack of support results in dishonor, which can be extinguished only with the help of the tower – an additional location to place knights during the game. At game's end, each player loses one point for each dishonor token held, and the players with the most and second most tokens lose additional points based on the total amount of dishonor dished by the king during the game.

Risks and challenges

Alhambra Special edition components have been ordered and production is due in Feb 2015.
Chicago Express - The Nickel Plate expansion is almost completed and once finished this campaign will ship (expected January/early Feb 2015).
Our toughest challenge with our previous projects has involved the coordination of production when a game is made with components from different manufacturers. This creates some logistics and shipping challenges that we want to improve upon. Going forward our plan is to minimize this situation so that we can better manage our production timeline and delivery.
Due to shipping time (ocean transit, customs, rail/truck, and final delivery), our release policy for Kickstarter Games releases is that they will be released in the EU when they are available since we produce in Holland. North America will be 8-10 weeks after EU and for backers everywhere else it will be 10-12 weeks from the EU launch.
