There are 4 new board quadrants with the Farmland type on them. Some castles have been replaced with silos adding a different scoring possibility.
There are 16 location tiles with 8 new abilities and 8 summary cards for the edges of the board.
There are also 6 new Kingdom Builder cards with some exciting new victory earning conditions.
Kingdom Builder: Harvest, the 4th boxed expansion for the award winning game Kingdom Builder designed by Donald X. Vaccarino, builds on this already exciting world of skill acquisition and land dominance.
All content of the expansion Harvest, can be added to Kingdom Builder the basic game as well as any combination of the base game, Queenies and previous 3 expansions (Nomads, Crossroads and Marshlands). All the set up and rules from Kingdom Builder the basic game apply.
It is important to know what the Harvest expansion has to offer to the game play. So you may make an informed choice when setting up the game.
The four new board quadrants have a new terrain type - Farmland. The farmland is not easy to settle on, because there are no terrain cards for this new land type. Instead the active player gains a special action: If the player is adjacent to an unoccupied farmland hex, he may place another settlement on a farmland hex, which is adjacent to one of his own settlements.
There are eight new location types on the game boards.
Some of them allow you to place an additional settlement at certain places, whereas others have more unique actions.
The Bazaar allows you to reuse one of your abilities on the same turn. A player with the Cathedrals ability may decide on his turn if he takes a chip, or returns any number of chips he already has and places that many extra settlements on the current terrain. The Cabin allows you for one turn to place two neutral scouts on the board, adjacent to one of your settlements. These scouts count as your pieces for adjacency and fill up space, but they cannot be used for scoring or claiming a location tile. This might help to get across terrain, you don't have terrain cards for.
On the new board quadrants, some of the castles have been replaced by a new building - a silo. This has an effect at the end of the game but before final scoring: If you have placed a settlement next to one or more silos, for each silo you may place or move up to 3 settlements in any empty land hex adjacent to your pieces. This can be the tip on the scales for winning the game!
New Kingdom Builder cards
There are also 6 new Kingdom Builder cards with some exciting new victory earning conditions. Two of the cards are the Innkeeper and the Mayor. The Innkeeper gets you 1 victory point per settlement that is adjacent to exactly two of your settlements – no more no less. The Mayor gets you 4 victory points for every horizontal line of 4 settlements or more that you marked at the time it was made. You may mark any players line as long as it has not been marked already.
Kingdom Builder: Harvest adds many new strategic possibilities to this already classic game.

Risks and challenges
Through our different projects launched on Kickstarter we discovered different challenges, like coordination of production with different manufacturers, production or shipping delays due to several reasons.
Please keep in mind that November 2016 is an estimated delivery date.
Also, despite sending the rewards at the same time, backers in different regions of the world may receive their rewards sooner than others because of logistics of international shipping.
We can refund you after the end of the campaign, but only minus Kickstarter and payment processing fees (which is 10%). All refunds are done via paypal in US $ only.
By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the name, final look and materials of the project and hence the rewards, are subject to change and may differ from what is presented while the Kickstarter campaign was active.
