Cubo is a fast paced dice rolling game played in 6 rounds with all players rolling simultaneously. The game is for 2 to 4 players ages 8 and up and plays in 20-30 min.
And what about those colors??? The colors and pallet of Cubo are inspired by the Holi Festival of Colors, Happiness and Peace. This festival celebrates a wonderful message and ties in very nicely with the social and friendly event of boardgaming.
Cubo has a real-time mechanic that is brought forth not with a timer, but rather a limited resource - the four dice in the center. Gain as many points as possible with your nine dice by composing Straights and Trips.
Gain as many points as possible with your nine dice by composing Straights and Trips. This video will explain how it is done.
Every player has 9 dice: 4 red, 4 blue and 1 white. White is wild. All players are rolling there own dice simultaneously until they get a roll they like. A player arranges his own roll in a square with the white die in the center, creating Trips, 3 dice of the same value in a row or column and Straights, 3 dice with successive values ascending or descending.
When you are happy with your arrangement or "Cubo" yell out Cubo! And cover your dice. Now grab a die of your choice from the four dice in the center. This die may help you increase your score during the scoring phase. Be quick, or a fellow player may yell Cubo and snatch the die you want.
How does scoring work?
The points gained are based on the highest number in your Straights and the number used in your Trip.
If you are lucky and skilled enough to create a Trip or a Straight in the same color that score will be doubled.
Take the appropriate point chips from the center and prepare for the next round!
Metro is a game for 2 to 6 players ages 8 and up and plays in 45 min. Designed by Dirk Henn (yes, the guy who designed Alhambra :-)) In Metro players are laying lines of track to connect stations, either to their own stations or other players' stations. If you can connect your line to the central station you double your points!
The object of the game is to make the rail lines as long as possible when you are connecting stations (so basically you are laying out inefficient routes...just like a government run railway!). You can connect to your own stations or other players' stations (connecting to another player's station may award you more points.). At the beginning of the game players are assigned stations and place their subway cars on the game board to indicate ownership.
When a route is complete, meaning there is track connecting a start station to an end station, that player scores one point for each tile along the route. For creative planners, a single tile may be scored multiple times if the route loops back on itself. If you can connect your line to the central station you double your points!
When laying track there are 4 requirements. These requirements add even more strategy to the game.
- Tiles must be placed next to an existing tile.
- Track cannot begin and return to the same station with one tile.
- Red arrows on tiles must be oriented in the same direction as the arrows on the game board.
- It is possible to place a tile at an opponent’s station, but all of the placement rules apply.
And one last thing. A player must always place a tile on their turn even if it helps another player!
Lucky Loop is a light dice game from Karsten Hartwig (Chinatown) and Wolfgang Panning (Fresco and almost every Queen Games expansion!). The Lucky Loop game box is in Dutch. The components are language independent (the card names are in English) and English rules will be included.

When campaigns are combined, the later date of fulfillment will apply.

Risks and challenges
Orcs, Orcs, Orcs is at the printers and on schedule.
Alhambra Special edition components have been ordered and production is on schedule.
Escape Big Box is at the printers and on schedule.
Thebes, Dragon Valley, Neptun are ready to be shipped and expected to be in transit in 2 weeks.
Kingdom Builder Big Box is on the boat en route to the US for shipment to North American backers.
Chicago Express - The Nickel Plate expansion is almost completed and once finished this campaign will ship.
Our toughest challenge with our previous projects has involved the coordination of production when a game is made with components from different manufacturers. This creates some logistics and shipping challenges that we want to improve upon. Going forward our plan is to minimize this situation so that we can better manage our production timeline and delivery.
Due to shipping time (ocean transit, customs, rail/truck, and final delivery), our release policy for Kickstarter Games releases is that they will be released in the EU when they are available since we produce in Holland. North America will be 6-8 weeks after that and for backers everywhere else it will be 8-10 weeks from the EU launch.
