Meet the Designers
Thanks everyone. We are really excited for a great first weekend of the campaign. We are going to be posting some updates this week focusing on the stretch goals of the campaign, but first, we wanted to introduce you to the designers.
Copenhagen was designed by Asger Harding Granerud (Flamme Rouge) and Daniel Skjold Pederson (Gold Fever). Together they have created such critically acclaimed games as 13 Days: The Cuban Missile Crisis, A Tale of Pirates, and Shaky Manor, which was nominated for the Kinderspiel des Jahres in 2018.
Both live and work in Copenhagen, and had wanted to design a game about the city they love for a while. While pitching a game design for building moon rockets with Tetris pieces, the idea came to make Copenhagen the setting for the game, which fit perfectly.
Below is a video of the designers introducing the game, and you can also watch of interview with them in their favorite game cafe in Copenhagen (Which hosted a game launch party this weekend). I
f you want to follow their work, or see some pictures from the party, you can find them at:
We also want to give our appreciation to Markus Erdt who did much of the art for the game. He has worked on several of our projects in the past, and we think he did a fantastic job.
More excitement to come,
