Basic Terrain Kits

Hello Everyone,

I've been up in my tower cranking away at kits tirelessly and Basic Terrain kit Surveys will be going out Monday (12/4). If you pledged for the Basic Terrain Kit and don't receive a survey by midnight on 12/4, please email us at Comments, messages, and facebook posts become difficult to cross-classify, file, and process.

Below are the images of the basic terrain kits. There is one anomaly, wherein the Lookout Post kit became overly complex and was bumped up to a deluxe terrain kit. My apologies for this but with it's production time it was a necessity. Here we go.

City Ruins kit

Administration Ruins

Docks (two of these puppies)

The Gallows (yes, I'll toss some butcher's twine in there too :)

Smoldering Foundation

Victorious Arch

Train Rails (which go great with...)

Train Car

Full Supply Shipment

Defensive Bunker

Directions for assembly will be posted on the website (along with accessories and some of the objectives) later this week/end/early next week. Think rolling admissions.

Additionally, if you see something here that you want but didn't order it (or maybe you want a few kits instead of 1?) they will be added to the webstore later this week ***with the stipulation that orders outside of kickstarter backers will be taken and processed after all the the kickstarter Basic terrain kit backers have had their stuff sent out***. If you are a backer however, anything you pick up in the store will be sent out with your kickstarter order.

Lastly, if you have one of the higher levels (Full Terrain Table or Premium Terrain Package) and you'd like some stuff sooner, there is the option of getting your partial order (objectives, accessories and basics) sent to you sooner if you either send the shipping for the early shipment (a single shipping charge was included in your backer pledge) or pick something up in the store.

For either of the cases of backers picking up goods in the store, please include the following information in the Notes section of the order form:

Kickstarter Backer Name

Original Pledge Level

Thanks a bunch everybody. I'll post deluxe stuff as I finish it so you guys aren't in the dark this long again.

Thanks for the info. I'm international so its back to Gurk 2 for me :-)

Well serendipity would have it that my photographer had some bad mexican for lunch and couldn't make it up this evening, so I'll have him take some photos of the kits with models in them just for you guys. That being said, the kits won't be in the store until later tomorrow evening. To answer questions, yes you can fit *most* models in the ruins, bunker, etc. I wouldn't throw a bloodthirster under there or anything tho...

@ArchyDan No worries, just figuring out the process so I can do the order and have a partial shipment. Will do it later today, probably. Thanks!

I too am interested in seeing them beside some minis, or in the buidlings too
I'm loving the bunker and city ruins
can you fit a mini below, in the admin. building ruins?

    6. ArchyDan Creator on December 3, 2012

Also! The City Ruins kit does NOT come painted and none of them come assembled. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that (once more) while this is fresh before the eyes. @Jeff, the US ones have. International is still waiting on an issue with our shipping process. Sorry for the holdup! I'll try to get some photos up on the website (or on here) in the next few days.

Those look fantastic! I must check out the shop soon (waiting for christmas money!)
Quick question - have the tokens been sent yet?

    8. Dai on December 3, 2012

Hi, any chance we can get some pics of these kits with a 28mm mini for scale reference?

What you've posted looks great, can't wait for the survey email.

    9. ArchyDan Creator on December 3, 2012

@Jesse- Yes, the train door actually slides open (both of them)... and my hand is there for scale @Lawrence Thanks! :D

@Andreas I'm sorry for the error, there is a notes section on the backend of the shop which I thought came from customers. If you'd like extra stuff shipped with your pledge rewards:

-Send the confirmation email from the onilne store to
-include your Kickstarter Handle and your original pledge level
-include what you're looking for from your order (objectives, accessories, basics, whathaveyou)

Thanks again, and sorry for the slight mix-up.

So....Not seeing a notes section on the order form (unless it comes after the "Complete My Purchase" button on the payment info.

      Beautiful work.

Does that train car door actually open, or are you just holding your hand there for scale?
