I know many people want to play the game on their favorite platform (e.g., 3DS, mobile, Xbox One, etc.). I myself would really love to see the game on as many platforms as possible, but this is not manageable with the size of our team. Although I use Unity3D as an engine that helps to develop games for different platforms, it is still a LOT more work than pressing a simple button. Working for different platforms means that every feature needs testing; every platform has its unique traits, properties and requirements that need to be followed, where every platform needs to be tested and go through QA, with every version of every platform needing to be distributed, patched, approved and so on. This means that every platform carries the risk of delaying the project, even when outside help is involved. This is the reason that - independent of the money we will raise - I decided to develop for the two most asked for consoles, Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4, through stretch goals in order to deliver a high quality product.
