The microphone function was something we decided to go for after we had done the film. We will do our best to develop this function so that you can have a normal phone call by talking straight out. Worst case scenario, you will have to hold one of the earbuds closer to your mouth. But that is of course worst case! We will keep you posted!
Yes if your phone is equipped with the components needed for standardised wireless charging it is most possible and even encouraged! The more wireless the better!
The wireless charging is certainly something we are looking forward to develop and offer a more wide range of, including a charger that stores power. Although, for this first launch, it will only include the stationary charger you see in the campaign images.
Apart from this, there are already chargers out there with the same technology as we incorporate and also models that can store power. In the future we believe this is something you will be able to find in any electronics store.
Our schedule might look optimistic. This is due to the fact that we are in a partnership with Sudio, a quality earphone brand in Stockholm (www.sudiosweden.com). With the help of their infrastructure in terms of sourcing and shipping, we believe the time schedule is feasible.
Good question! This is something we aim to develop, and offer a wide range of (chargers), going forward post-launch. Also, there are existing chargers out there that offers the same technology (also portable ones). Our belief is that these type of chargers will be available in any consumer electronics store in the future.
The left Truu earbud is the master side and is connected directly to the phone or device. The L side (master side) is then directly connected to the R side. Hence only the left earbud is connected to the bluetooth device.
We have a limited area on the PCB for the antenna but so far we have not seen any issues with the connectivity between the L and R sides. We have tested a lot of the products out there today and we do understand that this is a common problem for the existing true wireless products, hence we are putting more resources to solve it. So far we have increased the buffer size together with a well developed synchronising algorithm to avoid these problems. This is how we believe that we can differ from many existing models in terms of Bluetooth connectivity.
We do not promise any stretch goals at this point of time as we are entirely focusing on optimising the design and technology we are working with today. But of course, this much funding opens up possibilities and we will consider it.
