Our goal for this project is to deliver the best possible book while ensuring that the creators get compensated. Each creator will be taking a significant pay cut to be apart of this project.
Printing any book is expensive. We will be printing a 200 page, black and white, softcover graphic novel. A large chunk of our asking goal will be going to printing this book for our backers.
Shipping and handling and rewards will be where a percentage of our asking goal will go to. Ensuring that we have enough of a safety net to ship goods to our potential backers is an important detail for the overall goal of this project.
During our campaign, I will announce stretch goals if necessary, and will be clear and honest about where any and all money will go.
Risks and challenges
Obviously with printing a comic book, delays can happen, I hope that not to be the case however. We have left an appropriate amount of time to go to print and to ship to our backers.
Working in a project with a large group of creators can be challenging as well. Many of the creators have jobs, obligations or other gigs that pay significantly better. We have very good deadlines in place to ensure quality and completion before we go to print.
This project will be managed and owned by us and we will not have any outside interference or delays interfering with the project in terms of writing, art, lettering, editing etc. We are well prepared to handle any and all issues that arise.
I will be communicating with all backers frequently and will be completely honest through out this process of this project.
We are all very excited to do this project and can not wait to deliver, what we believe is going to be, a great horror anthology.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
