Let's turn Strong Female Protagonist, the ongoing webcomic about superheroes and social justice, into a graphic novel!
1,967 backers pledged $60,974 to help bring this project to life.

Surveys are going out, and merchandise is coming in!

Hi guys! As of tonight, everyone getting physical rewards should have received their backer surveys for the Strong Female Protagonist Kickstarter. Check your Kickstarter account if you didn't see an email about them. We can't send you your reward without getting your address, so make sure to fill that out as soon as you can!

We've been sitting on some really exciting news that we can finally share. After seeing how rad this Kickstarter was, Top Shelf Productions offered to distribute our book in their catalogue. This means it will be in stores around the country and will be at the Top Shelf table at conventions that we can't make it to. You guys are all getting books already, but if you have an old fashioned friend who refuses to read any comic they can't buy in a store...well, after they buy our book, thank them from us, and then tell them to wake up because it's 2014.

...anyway, you can see the listing here. We're really excited to be able to reach more people and bring in new readers!

The books shipped from China a few days ago! They're estimated to arrive in late September, sadly a little too late to debut at the Small Press Expo, but they'll be at MICE and NYCC. Buttons (so many buttons) and t-shirts (so many t-shirts) just arrived. Everything looks great and will be heading your way as soon as the books arrive, making it possible for me to live in my room again. Cheers,

Molly & Brennan

Super-sweet! This book deserves all the visibility and success. I'm glad Top Shelf agrees!

If it's within their or your budget to donate a few copies of the books to select libraries or institutions, that'd be just heroic. :-)
