Let's turn Strong Female Protagonist, the ongoing webcomic about superheroes and social justice, into a graphic novel!
1,967 backers pledged $60,974 to help bring this project to life.

Books are off to the printers!

Posted by Molly Ostertag (Creator)

Hello, friends! We've been working hard on putting the books together for print and drawing the bonus comic (which, if you're wondering, is about the biodynamic culture of India - based on your votes). This week I send it all off to the printer and we're currently approving the proofs. Hopefully, this means that we'll have books at the Small Press Expo this September in Bethesda, MD, so that fans coming to SPX can pick up their books directly from us (more information on that as the date approaches).

Backers who pledged $10 or more, keep an eye on your inbox today for the PDF of the book, where you can read the aforementioned bonus comic, and more!

Next up, we'll be printing the rest of the rewards and getting comments up on the website. If everything goes according to plan, we'll be shipping mid September, and we'll keep YOU updated with our process.

Happy summer,

Molly & Brennan

Dilemma: Read PDF ... wait for print version ... read PDF ... wait for print version ... read PDF ... wait for print version ... aaaaargh.

I recently moved to the DMV and had NO IDEA about the Small Press Expo. I live 10 minutes from Bethesda. SUPER STOKED! Congratulations on your publication. I can't wait. - Rebecca, creator/co-moderator of KNOWhomo.tumblr
