You're trapped on an alien space station and the only way out is the sole space taxi - but who can pay for a ticket first?
Use this space to cheer the creator along, and talk to your fellow backers.
Have a question?
Andrew, hope everything is going okay with the repairs to your shop.
Just wanted to let you know there is a community out there definitely ready to back this when you are ready!
+1 to please let us know what you decide. We want this game! :-)
I had a feeling it was going to happen, but I still hope to see this game in the near future. Best of luck guys.
@Jane thanks for the kind words. I will definitely let you know :)
I am so sad to hear you cancelled - we really wanted this one to succeed. PLEASE let us know when you do KS again and we will push hard for you.
Let's hope so because projections are no longer anywhere near funding :-(
Yay! Everyone who plays it really likes it, so hopefully we'll see some of them here!
We played a ton of Alien Labyrinth at San Diego Comic Con and made sure to tell players about the Kickstarter.
Lots of players loved the game and I am hoping they will show the love here too.
@Andrew thanks! It's been a rough week dealing with it :/
Ouch, sorry to hear about the in-store issues. $30k is not a tiny chunk of change (in fact its about 3x what I make in a year ...)
@Andrew I agree - I'm not sure what happened with the BGG ads but let me look into it. We've been running ads on Facebook and Twitter as well.
We suffered a serious in-store issue this week (close to $30 thousand dollars in damage) due to a contractor issue, which has unfortunately caused some problems with our promotion this week. We're still pushing heavily including at 3 cons this weekend, and 3 new (and fantastically positive) reviews.
I guess part of "Picking Up" I was hoping to see it actually show up at places. I can't say for Facebook/Twitter as I don't use those but I'm the only one I've seen post it on Google+, even the Foam Brain Games account hasn't (though it doesn't look like that's ever posted anything).
I've not yet seen these banner ads that were supposed to be on BGG and kicktraq and I'm on those sites every day.
It's also disheartening to see pledges dropping off as its been lately.
@Andrew We're going to be showing the game off at 3 seperate conventions this weekend and one next weekend so hopefully some people will get a chance to play and back this awesome game :) I'll add some direct social media links to make it easier to find
@LordRavage Awesome! :)
If anyone is coming to San Diego Comic Con and wants to try playing the prototype version of the game, be sure to swing by the gaming room on the 4th floor of the Hyatt
Hope this picks up. Also might be helpful for the social stuff if you actually put links to the Twitter and Facebook pages instead of just having them as part of an image.
@Daniel Thanks! I hope you will very much enjoy our new edition.
Bought this directly from the creator I want to say 2 years ago at comic-con. Fun little game.
@NoBeard we're well on the path to funding and have both Kicktraq and BGG banner ads scheduled for the next two weeks so I think we're on a decent path :)
This game looks fun, hope funding picks up
@Rob I'm glad you've come to like it :) I think as we keep posting pieces it will grow on you - having unique art for the special cards and aliens is kind of awesome!
Congrats Robert!! It was great seeing you at Phoenix Comicon demoing this! - Trish and Ian Stedman
I admit the new art kinda shocked me a little bit. I think mostly because I've been playing Alien Labyrinth for so long with its original artwork.
After thinking about it and assessing the new thematic elements and slight changes I agree with you about the new artwork really enhancing the game and experience.
@Andrew depending on stretch goals it might be used for some variants we have ideas for (which require extra components) or a full page ad for Foam Brain Gear. It won't be blank once the game ships :)
@Andrew yeah I know. It would just work better with my wallet ;-)
So is there a reason for the big blank page 10 in the rulebook?
@Rob Awesome! I agree, it's a lot of fun, and I think the new art and components really enhance the experience!
I'm happy to see the Alien Labyrinth Kickstarter coming online!
Alien Labyrinth is always being requested at work and family functions. It's a great game to play for about 20-30 minutes when you want to take a break from strategy games. Can't recommend it enough.
Quick setup, easy to understand rules, appealing filler to gamers and non-gamers alike.
Get on board, you won't regret it.
@Andrew Board Game campaigns ending right after Gen Con sadly have a poor historical track record ;/
Well this looks good, the only thing better would have been for it to end in August ;-)
Our worst-case date is in February, but based on working with the company in question we think by the end of 2015 is very realistic.
So maybe I missed it in the campaign description, but when is the estimated delivery date?
