New Rewards Tier at $65 Including CORPSE COLD trading cards!
We're going to offer the complete 30-card set of tarot-sized Corpse Cold: New American Folklore trading cards by creating one additional tier. All backers may pledge an additional $25 at any tier (please tell us in a direct message or in the comments if you do so) and receive the deck of cards with your physical copy or bundle!
Since we're offering the cards that we planned on using for the 23k stretch goal for purchase, we'll make an additional eight cards to meet our obligations in the case that we do reach our goal. So no one will receive doubles if they've purchased the complete deck.
Designs are subject to change. We're currently ordering card stock samples to make sure we deliver the best quality.

Corpse Cold: New American Folklore is a collection of 17 horror stories inspired by folklore and urban legends.
Fans of the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark series will enjoy the gruesome art and creepy stories. But be warned -- these stories and illustrations are for mature readers.
Each story is accompanied by macabre illustrations from the mind of Chad Wehrle.

Read "Switches," a story to appear in CORPSE COLD: NEW AMERICAN FOLKLORE.
A sampling of other tales you'll find in our book:
"Moss Lake Island" - A carefree getaway in the Adirondacks takes a terrifying turn when two friends stumble upon an island inhabited by witches...

“The Woman on the Campus Green” - A student with a tragic family history finds himself the subject of a strange secret admirer on his college campus...

“Black Dog” - While hunting in the woods near their home, two teenage brothers encounter the strange creature that their father had warned them about since childhood...

John Brhel and Joe Sullivan are the authors of several paranormal and fantasy books, including Tales From Valleyview Cemetery, Marvelry's Curiosity Shop, At the Cemetery Gates: Year One, and Carol for a Haunted Man.
We grew up consuming spooky fiction from a young age. The gruesome images and crazy plot twists of stories found in books like Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and in shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark? really informed our storytelling sensibilities, and we want to offer that same type of fun experience to our readers.

Chad Wehrle is an illustrator of "spooky shit." He is heavily inspired by the works of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark artist Stephen Gammell. Chad has produced his own series of art books under the moniker Tales From Drawloween.
