Here’s an update on recent progress and action.

Production

On the production side we're making great progress. Over the last few weeks we have been finalizing all the drawings and specifications, necessary for initiating the next production stage - tooling and fabrication. During this stage, we are going to make the tools for creating all the plastic and metal parts, as well as start to set up the PCB (circuit board) production line. We are very, very excited about this!

In the next couple of weeks, Eirik (CTO) and Matias (Lead Engineer) will head back to China to oversee this process and ensure that everything is running smoothly.

We also received a new prototype; slimmer, more refined and very close to the final version:

App beta launch

We'll be launching a beta version, exclusively for you backers (details and dates coming later). Anyone interested in being a beta user?

Backer Survey

We sent out backer surveys two weeks ago (see the previous update) - and almost 5000 of you have answered, but we are still missing 800 answers. It’s important that you complete the survey, as this is the last chance to order more add-ons and enter your shipping info.

As of now you’ve ordered over 2500 Extension Poles and 2200 extra batteries. Wow! The add-ons really make the user experience a lot better :)

The surveys will remain open for a few more weeks, and you can still change your order. If you have any questions regarding the survey, don’t hesitate to ask, we’ll try to reply as fast as possible.

NB: The question regarding which phone you’ll use is just for research purposes, you will receive the same stabilizer no matter which option you choose. So don’t worry if you change your phone later on.

Development

We are currently finalizing all the metal and plastic parts - and today we received a new sample of the latest changes on the FlowMotion Grip. When it comes to the electronics we are on track as well.

In the upcoming period, we’ll show you guys more details regarding production, and we’ll have more info regarding the timelines after our next trip to China.
