Hi all,

It's been a while since we posted an update on Kickstarter and we heard from a few people that they hadn't heard about the film's progress for a while. So, here's the latest!

Since finishing the film in January, we've had a great start to our festival circuit, premiering at the East End Film Festival in London, where we were chosen to compete for the Best UK Short, narrowly missing out on the top prize, but picking up an honorable mention from the jury.

We've also shown the film at the Brooklyn Film Festival, Arizona International Film Festival and Dances With Films in Los Angeles, where we were awarded the highest prize, the Grand Jury Award.

As a result of that win, we'll be eligible to submit the film for the Oscars which is exciting, although we're not getting ahead of ourselves just yet!

We've also been selected for 3 more Oscar-qualifying festivals: Edmonton International Film Festival, BronzeLens Film Festival of Atlanta and Urbanworld Film Festival in New York as well as the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York UK, all later this year.

We'd like to thank you all again for your contributions to the film. It's been an extraordinary journey so far and it's fantastic to see the film is being well received by festivals and audiences around the world, none of which would have happened without you.

Most of our updates are being put on our social media profiles below or on our website. So if you haven't already, please follow us if you want regular news about the film.
