If you’re like us, you think the iPhone is the pinnacle of cell phone design. Its sleek aluminum body, minimalistic appearance, and refined look & feel scream classy. So why would you cover all of that beauty with a cheap, ugly plastic (or rubber) cell phone case? Your cellphone case should be as well-designed as your phone, and that's where KLOQE comes in.

KLOQE: Innovative Design
A number of innovative features set KLOQE apart from the competition. Chamfered edges and an anodized aluminum body perfectly match KLOQE to your iPhone. A simple two-piece body slides together and locks into place with no tools needed. KLOQE's sleek, lightweight design adds only 4 millimeters to the height and width of your phone. These features combine to form a strikingly beautiful and virtually unnoticeable protective shell.
And that's not even the best part ...
KLOQE's patent-pending design makes it the only all-aluminum iPhone case that does not affect your phone's reception.

Keeping it Slim

Due to Kloqe's simple and sleek design, your phone will still have a thinner profile than the bare iPhone 4.

We've got all your favorite colors.
With 4 colors to choose from, there's a KLOQE for everyone. Want your case to fly under the radar? Pick the color that matches your iPhone. Feel a little daring? Mix things up by choosing something different.

The Journey
One thing that makes the iPhone so impressive is the simplicity and the quality of the design. Aesthetically, the iPhone is the pinnacle of design. After spending hundreds of dollars on an iPhone, most people need some protection ... but the available cases are made from cheap plastic or rubber. And why would you cover a beautiful glass and metal sculpture with a cheap case?
We looked everywhere for a case that was built with the same materials and quality as the iPhone, but couldn’t find a single one! While these other cases may do a good job protecting your phone, what’s the point when you can’t even tell what your phone actually looks like in the first place? And although there are a few metal cases on the market, they all caused reception issues and dropped calls.
So, after much frustration, we decided to create our own perfect iPhone case … and that's where the journey to KLOQE began.

Initial Stages
KLOQE's first design called for two windows (openings) above the two antennas of the iPhone. While this seemed like a good idea on paper, we soon discovered that it did very little to combat the reception issues.
3D Printed Prototypes
3D printed plastic prototypes helped prove fit and function before moving onto the next, and more expensive, step of prototyping.
First Aluminum Prototype
When the first aluminum prototypes were created, they looked great, but only half of our goal was completed. We had created a phone case that looked and felt just like the iPhone; however, we were now running into the same problem that every other all-aluminum case has had … RECEPTION ISSUES.
So, it was back to the drawing board for 7 more rounds of prototypes until we found our patent-pending solution.
The last round of prototyping called for complete separation between the three sections of the iPhone and case. To do this, we used injection molding along with Electric Discharge Machining (EDM). These methods, in addition to the patent-pending design, allowed KLOQE to keep its all-aluminum body while combating all reception issues.
Standing above the competition
1. Design — Our goal was to recreate the exact look and feel of the iPhone 5, and we did just that. With its CNC carved, brushed aluminum corners and that “slightly chilled” feel of the aircraft grade aluminum, KLOQE delivers the most similar experience to holding an original iPhone in your hand on the market today. But now when you drop your phone, we've got you covered.
2. Innovation — A smart phone deserves a smart case, right? Well, that’s exactly what KLOQE is. Realizing that reception on iPhones can be interrupted with an aluminum case when the top and bottom antennas are bridged, we have a patent-pending design utilizing electric discharge machining and injection molding in key areas, which prevents any possible signal interruption while being able to mimic the iPhone’s original design.
3. Quality — KLOQE is built with premium quality aircraft grade aluminum in a 10-step, 7-hour process that turns a solid block of aluminum into an accessory marvel. In a world full of cellphone cases made of plastic, rubber, and other various substrates, KLOQE is truly one of a kind in this industry.

Risks and challenges
We fully understand that product development projects come with their own set of challenges. If some unforeseen problem arises, we will be sure to handle it as quickly and smoothly as possible. We have already factored in some lag time for our delivery and we are confident that we can get everything shipped out by our estimated delivery date.
Outside of our manufacturing process, we have our logistics system firmly in place. Jon has over five years of professional Inventory Management and Logistics experience under his belt. He has worked hand in hand with some of the world's largest companies including Starbucks, Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Apple and Sears while acting as a Logistics Manager for a company in suburban Chicago. On his own he has run a successful Kickstarter project in the summer of 2012 with on-time delivery to all of his 256 backers and has compiled over 1,100 more individual customers since then. He has also shipped to over 30 countries since his Kickstarter project ended. This is very valuable, considering international shipping is what can often cause the most difficulties in the order fulfillment process.
Arash has a similar skill set to Jon, but his experience lies more heavily on the import/export side of things. He has been to China dozens of times in the last 10 years for various entrepreneurial business ventures. He understands how many skids fit on a truck, how to pack them, how to package a product to keep shipping costs most affordable, and the entire process of getting product from China to the USA as efficiently as possible. Arash also has numerous manufacturing connections in China that can act as options C, D, and E if our first two manufacturers can not fulfill our order for whatever reason. He has seen all the intricacies needed when dealing with China, and has a solid grip on domestic operations as well.
Overall, the order fulfillment portion is something that we are very confident in being able to execute. It's actually something we pride ourselves on, as process efficiency is something we each genuinely enjoy. We understand that it’s a lot of work, but we are fully equipped with both the physical space and the team needed to ship this many orders. We have multiple resources in place to ensure order fulfillment whether we end up selling 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 units of KLOQE.
