I was wondering if you had sent out the pins and the rest of the rewards yet? I haven't received anything so was wondering if they got lost in the mail or if they just haven't been sent yet. Thanks!

@JanelleFalconer The email has been resent a 3rd time. If you continue to have trouble please email info(at)filmfirstco(dot)com and we'll get it sorted out.

@jessicaedwards I never received an email, unless it went into my spam. Thank you for your reply. I hope to receive the selected poster. I replied quite late as I did not receive any notification and when I checked on the Kickstarter in September there was no new information.
      Please forward the intended email.

@JanelleFalconer Hi Janelle, we notified all our limited-edition print backers four months ago via email about the poster design change and the reasons behind it. It was unfortunate, but it was out of our hands, and we feel we've provided a great alternative with the Harder designs. Your backing is helping make a documentary about Canadian design history that has never been available before. That's the important thing that all of us are working towards with this project.

Please feel free to reply directly to our email if you'd like to discuss further, and thank you for your continued support.

I just noticed I had a survey to reply to. Incredibly disappointing posters.
If this is what was offered initially I would not have donated as much.
It was both about having that poster and supporting the cause. Feel lied to after waiting so long and having the poster change.

I think an explanation is due.

@JessicaEdwards I am waiting still on my Expo 67 poster. What is happening?

@JulieHaugh We will be announcing the screening tour in mid-April once we have our premiere dates confirmed. KS backers will be the first to know! Many thanks for your support!

Please keep us up to date with expected locations and dates. I live in the States and would love to make it to a screening, but I need enough time to make vacation plans and book travel. I'm also in touch with relatives in Canada and would love to tell them about it as well.

Best of luck and look forward to seeing the final results.

      Hi Brett,

Our team has been working our tails off for 5 years and we’ve doubled down since the completion of our KS in Feb. It has been a massive undertaking (bigger than any of us ever expected), but we are excited with how it is shaping up. We are in the final stretch of the edit and can't wait to share the film with you in the spring!

Feeling really let down over the Expo '67 poster right now after selecting from two lesser options. Historically, those two have nothing on the original option. I would be feeling better about parting with my money had the previous downloads and later release date not been so disappointing as well. I really hope this film blows away all my expectations...

    13. Jessica Edwards 2-time creator on November 24

@DavidHackett Thank you so much for the kind words! We won't let you down!

At this time of year especially, I would like to give thanks to self-starting, curious design researchers and filmmakers all over the place (Kickstarter incl.)—people like Jessica Edwards and her squad for making projects like this happen. All it requires is a little patience. Thank you for the communication and the updates on rewards! Good luck on the final stretch—we are all looking forward to seeing your film!

      @DennisMichael, @ErickMarshall, @Mike @JulieHaugh

Hi Everyone, we've just sent around an update that will give you some info about where we are with the film and the rewards. We really appreciate your support and patience through this process. Look for more updates and communication as we begin manufacturing your rewards this month and thanks again for sticking with us!

    16. Dennis Michael on November 17

The lack of communication is getting a bit frustrating. There are 1483 backers who have become advocates for this project and yet here we are asking questions...waiting for updates. Being ignored. I really want to see this film happen. Jessica can you please give us an honest update? What's going on?

    17. Erick Marshall on November 16

I've been waiting for information about where this will be shown. The good news is that I've been unable to get out of town due to work pressures. The bad news is that there haven't been any updates indicating screening dates or places. Now I'm starting to plan a trip to Canada and I'm anxious to know what's up with screening.

Any news I can use to plan a trip?

I am so disappointed that the Ernst Rock poster is not available. I've always loved that poster and I chose it very specifically.
The Rolf Harder posters are wonderful but I don't want to own one. Are there any other options?

Great to see my teachers from OCA(D): Hans Kleefeld, Burton Kramer, and Stuart Ash. The foundation they provided guides me every day, Burt’s encouragement propelled me to apply to grad school (Cranbrook Academy of Art). Great work!!

Wow, $75K of $80K -- so close! If you reach your goal and don't plan to do any Stretch Goals -- Maybe give the 1974 CBC Graphics Manual KickStarter a little bit of a push?

Perhaps work with them to turn that into a 3-minute or 5-minute documentary section, e.g. the Making Of the Reprint, etc. Given the CBC logo is probably a flagship logo for Design Canada.

@Kathy Fedirchuk CWB is a beautiful logo! Once we've finished the film, you'll see that while we're not able to focus in depth on EVERY amazing Canadian logo (see the discussion of GO Transit below) there will be lots of opportunities for 'cameos'...thanks so much for your support!

Huge fan of Aaron Draplin and just changed my pledge level. I was wondering if you could let me know the size of the poster he's signed? I may have just missed it, but I couldn't seem to find the dimensions. Thank you :)
