Have a question?
Mr. Hass, I want to thank you for your Drow Conspiracy campaign. I am a member of a actual play podcast called "Monkeys Took My Jetpack". Recently I ran a one shot of DC1 "Drow Necromancer". We will be uploading this to our blog very soon. I gave you credit and directed listeners to your products on drivethru.rpg. Our blog, where we post our episodes is found at mtmjetpack.com. I hope you get a chance to listen when we post the episode. I hope all the kickstarter backers will give us a listen. We have posted 61 episodes total. We have played games like MForce, Zorcerer of Zo, and Dresden Files. We kind of got lazy and now are trying to build our listener base again. I enjoyed running DC1 and am planning on runniing DC2 in the future. Thanks again.
I can't find the other link and nothing else is showing on Drivethru. Can you resend it please?
@Steven. You received two links. One for the current kickstarter (KS8) and one for the previous adventures (KS8 Catchup). If you only have one set in your library (the 9 from KS8 in this case) that means you didn't active the other link. You just need to click on it and then there will be two sections in your library.
Drivethru's technology offers advantages over just sending out attached emails. Updates will automatically be propagated to your library and you library is a permanent repository, so you don't have to worry if you change computers or accidentally delete a file.
Ok I've gone into My Library and I can see an option to download the pdf's but why are there only 9 subjects listed? My pledge was for 52 adventures. Are there multiple adventures under each different heading. Sorry to put you to all this trouble but I'm computer illiterate and wasn't expecting this when I pledged. I was just expecting an email with attachments.
@Steven, In that case don't use the dropbox. Download the pdf directly from the My Library.
I can't view the files because Dropbox doesn't recognise zip files on iPads.
@Steven I'm not sure if you're problem is you can't download the pdfs or if you can view the pdfs.
I still can't access anything on my iPad or Mac so looks like this was a waste of money for me
Thanks for the follow up. Have all the material. Awesome.
Hey Dan and backers. My questions is if maybe I was overlooked. I don't see any of the new content in my library. I'm only showing up through DC10 and DG30 since update 30 November. Thanks, Kris
Cool. I don't really want to download everything again, just the adventures that were updated. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no way of knowing which specific adventures in the pack had been updated.
@Adam I believe the notification you received from the KS7 Catch up content was for my updating DG2 The Lost Tome. Jeremy (my editor) and I will update all the previous adventures with things that have improved over the past months. But that process is piecemeal. I'm hoping to get them done at a rate of one or two per week until they are all completely revisited. So when those previous adventures are updated you will receive a notification from DriveThruRpg.com.
@Anthony The 52 adventures you listed are all the adventures to date. I understand that the numbering of the DGS items makes things a bit confusing. DGS is my designation for various content that isn't part of the regular campaign progressions in Dimgaard or Drow Conspiracy. The 5 adventures you listed were not part of the regular campaign progression and thus received that designation. Other things like NPCs to accompany the PCs, or altered monsters from CR0-20 are available for "pay what you want" on DriveThruRpg.com. And the Encounter Galleries that are part of kickstarter only packages, too. (I'll be adding DGS16 to this kickstarter which is an encounter gallery for 8th level characters.)
Hi Dan, Can you list what should have been delivered? I have received DC1-12, DG1-35, Then its a bit odd I got DGS4,6,7,14 and 15. FYI I did the catchup and this one.
I saw that and downloaded them, but the KS7 files were updated before that on the 30th of November. Dan said that he was going to update some of the previous files. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the updated content was.
@Adam He added the next two Drow Conspiracy sessions, 11 and 12, to the folder.
I got a message from DriveThruRPG today that said the KS7 catchup files had been updated. I can't see any difference to what I have already downloaded. Does anyone know what it is?
I did not get the email/file yet, can you have it resent?
So got the file copied to Dropbox but it won't open on my iPad. Is this because it's a zip file? I only use Macs and I'm totally computer illiterate so any help getting it viewable on my iPad would be appreciated
Check you mail/junk mail. I just received a link to DriveThruRPG from Dan. There are six adventures to download, 5 DG31-35 and one DGS15. There were nine adventures in this KS, so I'm guessing they will come later.
Thanks, Dan. I look forward to reading through it all.
Thanks for the update, Dan. Good to hear you are on the mend and getting things under control. Looking forward to the adventures being released.
Dan logged in today - so let's hope for an update.
Come on Dan, no news is bad news so can you please keep your backers informed?
Cool. Just checking to see if I missed an email update. I see the ball is in Dan's court still :) My players are enjoying these.
Second the below comments, any news at all!?
Hi Dan, any news on when it will be ready?
I posted a link to this project in the WOTC's forums. Hopefully that'll help to bring in some more $ for this already successful kickstarter. I would like to see these kickstarters be as successful as possible, so that we see more in the future!
@Daley I think you will be very happy with Dan Haas' material. I am rooting for him to get everything together at the end and produce a nice hard cover book with this adventure path all together in it.
It's great to see so many projects on kickstarter aimed at 5e and other settings. I am going to have a lot of reading to do, once these all come to fruition! Looking forward to some successful projects.
@Terry H. The easiest way is to take a look on drivethrurpg.com. I've moved the content from each of the previous KS there: https://www.drivethrustuff.com/browse.php…
Thanks for listing all the modules and descriptions. Thanks for al the great content Dan!
@Dan, do you have a comprehensive list of everything you have produced so far from every kickstarter?
Proud sponsor of such high quality and entertaining content.
I've run my group through the first two adventures of the Dimgaard series, and we've all had a lot of fun. No TPK's, but the encounters are definitely dangerous. There are opportunities for combat, exploration and roleplaying throughout. Dan is producing high-quality, low-cost material, and you get a lot gaming resources for not a huge amount of money.
