The goal of this two-week campaign is to print an original starship deckplan poster, cast a fleet of miniatures, and get them to you near the start of November. Two unique ships are included - one on each side of the poster, with miniatures for both. Links to digital documents will be provided that fully detail the ships and their interiors.
Jinda Wolf is a small, fast, warship designed for patrol and escort duties. Dark and dangerous, this sleek corvette is part of the "Wolves of Albion" line and carries a crew of fourteen plus an armored personnel carrier.
The Hikari Utsuri-class is a general transport designed to haul a moderate amount of cargo and a few passengers. There are bunks for 4 to 6 crew and a couple of additional cabins for customers or extra manpower. Named for a breed of Koi, the rugged Hikari is a larger cousin of the Remora-class boarding crafts seen previously.
US Shipping is $5 for the Miniatures pledge level, $7 for the Poster and Combo levels.
International shipping is $16 for the Miniatures pledge level and $26 for the poster or combo level ($12 and $19 for Canada). Rewards will be shipped using USPS first class mail from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The deckplans are provided on a two-sided, 24x36 inch poster. They are drawn to a 1 inch equals 5 ft scale and have a 1-inch grid built into the floor – perfect for Starfinder and other d20 RPGs. The Jinda Wolf corvette is shown on the front of the poster while the Hikari-class transport is displayed on the back.
The unpainted resin miniatures are sold as a set: one Jinda and one Hikari. They are about 55mm (2.2 inches) long and come with clear acrylic 1-inch hexagonal flight stands. The picture shows the 3D test prints for the miniatures, which is why they are black. The final miniatures will be the usual medium-gray color throughout. They are shown next to the existing Remora and Mourning Wolf miniatures for reference.
Both of these ships are from upcoming issues of Armada Codex that will be online by (or shortly after) the end of the campaign to fully detail the ships and their interiors. They also provide the deckplans on printable pages in both color and black & white. Every pledge level includes links to download these issues from DriveThruRPG. The digital reward also includes big images of the poster (front and back), Starfinder stat sheets, and bonus art.
If you want to add any posters or miniatures to your order, use the “Manage Pledge” button (or mouse-over your reward) to manually increase your pledge amount. The end-of-campaign survey will let you specify what any extra money is for and I’ll bundle everything together. All available posters, ships, and prices can be found on my Zero Hour Shop page ( http://0-hr.com/Shop ), but you can add them here to save on shipping.
If you pledge for the $28 combo then additional Jinda-Hikari posters are $16 and additional pairs of miniatures are $8. Otherwise, posters are $20 and miniature pairs are $10. Jinda Wolf and Hikari miniatures can also be ordered individually for $6 each. If your order includes any posters, then the total shipping is $7 / $19 / $26 for the US / Canada / rest of the world. Please include the difference in shipping cost, if any, manually. And as always, feel free to contact me with any questions or custom orders.
As a small token of my appreciation, I will create at least one original 3D rendering or image of these ships for every $1000 by which the goal is exceeded. These images will be included with the digital reward files exclusively for backers.
Risks and challenges
The map images and miniatures are already in production and should be done before the end of the campaign, so the only real risk is that shipping could be delayed for some reason. I am personally handling the shipping so I can ensure that it will be my highest priority when the campaign ends. If demand exceeds my initial estimates, there could be a delay while more materials are produced, but this would not be more than a couple of weeks.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
