Jade & Remora: Starship Maps & Miniatures
Starship miniatures and 18x24" deckplan poster. Three small ships for Starfinder and other sci-fi games.
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Wed, December 12 2018 4:45 AM UTC +00:00.
Welcome to my first "small-ship" campaign! It features “half size” posters that are 18x24 inches (instead of the usual 24x36 of my previous projects). There are three small ships presented and miniatures for all three are available. This will also be my fastest campaign ever – barely two weeks long so that I can get the goods into your hands before Christmas!
This campaign presents the scout ship Jade, the Remora boarding craft, and the Cavalo CV225 Cargo Shuttle. These small craft fill both sides of the 18x24 inch poster and the matching miniatures are sold as a set for extra savings. A pile of digital documentation is also provided to fully describe the ships, their interiors, and history.
U.S. Shipping is $6 for all pledge levels.
International shipping is $15 for single items (a "4 Miniature Set" is a single item) and $24 for multiple items; or $10 and $16 for Canada. Rewards will be shipped using USPS first class mail from Pittsburgh. If you live in the U.S. and answer the end-of-campaign survey promptly you can expect to receive your merchandise at least a few days before Christmas.
The deckplans are provided on a two-sided, 18x24 inch poster. They are drawn to a 1 inch equals 5 ft scale and have a 1 inch grid built into the floor – perfect for Starfinder and d20 RPGs. Jade and the CV225 cargo shuttle are featured on the front of the poster and the Remora is on the back.
Note: The posters in this campaign are 18x24 inches. Size-wise, that's like one of my "normal" posters turned sideways and then cut down the middle.
The miniatures were created as digital models, 3D printed at the highest resolution, made into molds, and professionally cast in durable resin. They are sold unpainted. The Jade and Remora miniatures are a little smaller than my typical miniatures (40mm instead of 50) and come with a 1 inch hexagonal flight stand. The cargo shuttles are 23mm long and do not use stands. The cargo shuttle may be familiar to some backers. It is the same model that appeared in the Shadowstar Corsairs board game. It was also provided as a special option in my “Restock” campaign earlier this year.
“Jade” is from issue #19 “Redux Alpha” of Future Armada, which also presents another complete ship and a small space station. “Remora” is from issue #8 “Mercury Trio” which includes two additional ships. The Cavalo CV225 is from an upcoming issue of Armada Codex that will be online by the end of the campaign.
Every pledge level includes links to all of these issues, which detail the ship interiors and present sample stats for the craft and crew. The maps are provided on printable pages in both color and black and white. The digital reward also includes big images of the poster (front and back) and Starfinder stat sheets.
If you would like to order posters or miniatures from my previous campaigns, please visit my website ( 0-hr.com ). You can order directly there, or check the prices and then increase your pledge here and let me know the details in the survey at the end of the campaign. Adding on items will not increase your shipping cost.
If you’ve pledged for the combo, then additional Jade-Remora-CV225 posters are $10 each, as are additional 4-miniature sets. Miniatures can also be added individually for $6 each or $6 for a set of 4 cargo shuttles.
Also note that the prices for miniatures in the shop at 0-hr.com have been cut from $9 to $6, so this is a good time to stock up for the holidays!
As a thank you to everyone for supporting this campaign, I will create at least one new rendered image featuring these ships when we hit $2500, $3500, etc.. These images will be included with the digital reward files exclusively for backers.
Risks and challenges
I've put in early orders for the posters and miniatures so that, even with the short campaign, everything should arrive in time to be shipped as soon as the surveys start coming back at the end of the campaign. Shipping delays are possible, but I have allowed for extra time so that things should still arrive before Christmas.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
