Calling All Project Creators!

There's no better expert on running a Kickstarter project than someone who's done it before. That's why we're putting out a call to Kickstarter's alumni creators for a word or two of advice.

We're working on a short video to help new creators get started on their projects, and we need your help to complete it.

Participating is simple. All we need is a short and casual video of you answering the following questions. The shorter your answers the better.

  • How did you feel before you launched?
  • How did you feel when you reached your goal?
  • What advice would you give someone who's about to start?

Want to participate? Just record a quick video response and send it to Your contribution will be a big help to the projects of the future. Thanks!

If you want your project to be funded, you have to believe in it. Everything That Moves Is Moved By Others:!

One of the great things about the Kickstarter community is that people you've never met can help make your project come true. I think it's really important to run a project in a way where it is about you & what you do that makes those things interesting to people who don't know you, not just your friends. Also I think it's important to have appropriate goals & perks. If you throw your project together in an hour, it shows....

This is great. Thanks for putting this together. This would be extremely helpful to a newbie project creator such as myself.

Sending along my video today -- I answer the 3rd question. I learned about 100 things from creating and completing our KS project!
Thanks, KS, for such an amazing platform. We received support from all over the country (and Canada!)

I am in the very beginning stages of my project. Seriously - finding avenues to get marketed so you can reach people is the main way of getting people to help.

The best question to answer might be how to effectively share a project.
