Hey all,

Been getting some requests for an update, so here's the dilly:

By now you should have received emails with digital copies of chapter 1 and chapter 2. If you haven't received either or both of these emails please let me know and I'll send those chapters right out to you.

I've received word from Nick, our colorist, that I can can expect chapter 3 to arrive in December. I realize this process has been slow, but one of the things I promised Nick when he agreed to color the book is that he'd be able to fit it around his schedule. I mentioned in a previous update all different things he's got on a monthly basis, so really I just thank you all for your patience. He tells me there's a chance he may even be able to do chapters 3 and 4 back to back, so here's hoping. But you can expect at least chapter 3 to arrive in the coming weeks.

I've mentioned that I've been holding off on sending surveys to avoid any changes of address. I think the time of those being sent out is coming soon. Especially for those of you who get sketches and original drawings. I'm about ready to start doing those, so expect them shortly.

Seriously, thanks again for your patience. Hopefully it'll all be worth the wait.

What? Another update so soon? Surely you jest!

Nope, I'm for reals. And don't call me Surely (Shirley? either way, this joke doesn't really work in writing...).

Anyway, as I said last time, while things were slow to start they're moving forward at a real good pace now. Just wanted to pop in real quick and let you guys know that 11 pages of the 17 page final chapter are now fully drawn and inked! Yes, if you're counting that's all nine pages previewed in the last update plus two more.

You might be wondering when you'll get your digital copy of chapter 2. Unfortunately I don't have a concrete answer there. We need Nick's schedule to open up a bit to get the pages colored. The guy's got Powers, Atomic Robo, Bendis & Bagley's Brilliant and Mike Oeming's Victories on his plate (plus who knows what else). He's a busy dude. This is what happens I guess when you get someone talented to work on your book. Plus, that's a much better excuse than my "I'm too busy watching Parks & Rec to do any drawing" bull I pulled on you last time. I'll let you know as soon as that gets moving.

And yes, I'm saying Cory isn't talented.

Finally, something to look at. Our main character Chet thinks he's hot stuff with his sun god pajama pants, but he's not the only one with nightwear. Here's a look at one of the guys he fights in the last chapter:
