Update #30: Psycliq.com
Update #29: Sales and Domains
Update #28: Amazon!
Both albums are now available to order as CDs on Amazon.com:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url...
The MP3 store doesn't have them yet, it seems, but the physical store does. Plus, they're eligible for free super saver shipping. :) The music has been starting to pop up on other stores as well, like Napster and Lala, and in other places like Last.FM.
Update #26: For Sale
The CD Baby page is finally up with all the right information:
http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/Psycliq
Both albums are up there now, for sale in both physical and digital formats. This is very exciting! Plus, you can now order the album from CD Universe and CD Connection, with presumably more distributors on the way. I think even Amazon's physical sales should pick it up soon. The process is still churning to get things up onto all of the digital distributors front. With iTunes, Amazon MP3, Napster, and everybody else requiring their own separate submission process and format, I've been told that things could take a while. But even so, the process has started and we're well on our way.
Thank you all again for making this happen. Has everyone gotten their packages at this point? I hope everything arrived OK.
Also, a note about the Bandcamp download cards: they have unique download codes on the back that lets you pull the music down in a variety of formats for no charge from Bandcamp. Since just about everyone also got a physical copy of the albums, if you're not interested in using the download codes, I would encourage you to pass them along to a friend. Spread the word, and we'll take over the world soon enough!
Update #25: Check out the storefront!
They're still putting things together, it seems, but I now have a storefront on CDBaby's website:
http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/Psycliq
You made this happen. :)
Update #24: Who do I sound like?
So I've gone and started up the process of getting Mathemagician and halt up on CD Baby. They just received the packages today, and the discs should be available for sale on their website fairly shortly, to follow on to the rest of the world soon enough. But in doing all of this, I have a dozen or so pages of forms to fill out here, some of which I'm not exactly sure about. I've never, ever been good at advertising myself, so it feels funny trying to write something compelling. But what has me really stumped is the question about what artist my music sounds like. I really don't have a good answer for this one.
So I want to ask you all: if you had to name three known artists that you could compare Psycliq to, what would they be?
Update #23: Here, have an album!
Update #22: This Song Will Not Be On The Album
Update #21: We did it!
We did it, and how! The project is finished now and successfully. And apparently, I *can* still update these little things, so you backers will have a few more things headed your way shortly. Almost everyone should be getting a note requesting a mailing address. Except for John, who is a pretentious digerati and feels above the need for physical objects. Everyone else though, the sooner you can get me those addresses the sooner I can get stuff in the mail to you!
And once again, thank you all.
