Hello wonderful backers,

We are pleased to announce that after 5 exhausting days, we've finished primary shooting for Prospect. We had been planning on shooting this film in the dreary rain of the Olympic Peninsula  but instead we were handed a week of solid sunshine. We created an entirely new look last minute, filming exclusively at 6am for several hours and then again at 6pm each day. A huge thanks to our crew for consistently getting up at 4am!

Hey all,

A lot has been happening since our Kickstarter campaign ended, and we just wanted to give you a quick update on the progress. We are still on track to shoot in May.

- We have cast Tony Doupe in the role of the father. Tony is one of the best and most experienced actors in Seattle.

- We have partnered with Gigantic Squid in the creation of promotional materials (read: amazing posters)

- Our amazing production designers Matt and Nick have been the busiest, working on suits, helmets, various hardware units, a tent, as well the insect hive (concept art below).

- And we've been doing a lot rehearsing - the picture is from our gun training.

Tonight at midnight this campaign comes to a close! This entire endeavor has already surpassed our expectations. Right now we are still aiming for a reach goal of $23,000 to up the quality of our post-production sound design and color.

I know that the campaign's coming to a close - but I had already made this quick update covering one the problems we've faced that's emblematic of making this kind of film. So I hope you find it interesting and thanks so much!

We did it! We can't thank you all enough. The amount of support we've received has blown us away and we can't wait to make this film!

For the final few days, we're setting a reach goal of $20k. The extra $2k will allow us to further develop and perfect a lot of the custom-designed props and costumes, particularly the Bandit helmet and the suits - allowing us to consider more options like custom molding components, etc. Every hour spent working on these artifacts costs money and the extra funding will help us really execute the level of detail we want to bring to the film.
