The Zach Bartholomew Trio is in the process of releasing its very first album, Out of This Town. As the title implies, the main goal of this album is to give the band the opportunity to present its music outside of Tallahassee, the home town where the ZBT is currently located. The money raised through kickstarter will be used to mix and master the tracks on the album and will also go towards the pressing of the CDs. Any extra money will be used for promotion of the album (magazines, newsletters, featured spotlights, etc.).

The recording process has already been completed and paid for by the band. Your help is needed to complete the entire project!

About the Album:

Out of This Town features original compositions from each member of the band. The music on this album represents the voice of the band as a whole, which draws from a plethora of influences and also strives to have its own unique sound. This is the ZBT's first chance to invite people all over the world to listen to the band's music. The success of this album will greatly help the group take further steps towards creating its own unique sound and will also help provide better opportunities to write more music, reach more listeners, and perform all over the world.

About the ZBT:

The Zach Bartholomew Trio has been together for over 3 years. Some highlights of their time together include:

• Touring across the Southeast up to Washington D.C.
• Performing and living on a cruise ship together for 2 months which traveled all over the Mediterranean. 
• Performing at the inauguration of 45th governor of Florida.
• Winning 1st place in the Salett Arts Center Jazz Trio Competition.
• Being featured on the cover of the Florida Jazz & Blues Online Magazine in 2011.
• Being a featured performer in the South Carolina Jazz Festival and the Tallahassee Jazz & Blue Festival.

In addition to performing, the ZBT also has begun to work with students and is trying to get more involved in jazz education. Exposure and success from this album will help the trio give more back to the community and provide more opportunities to work with students interested in learning about jazz.
