Software/Electrical Engineer working from Tulsa, OK. I specialize in embedded electronics/programming, with an intense interest in robotics. I've built a fully-functional CNC mill, and I am constantly involved with multiple projects.
I would also appreciate an update. Send a ping through DM but no response....
I am in Canada, and am still waiting as well. Any news would be great.
I'm still waiting for any news...
I'm still waiting for my posters... any idea of the time of arrival?
I haven't received any mail related to the shipping.
Thanks
Thomas, yours and several of the other international orders were (purposefully) delayed to make sure I'm shipping them correctly. I've had a couple of the US orders arrive to people as empty tubes (I'm assuming the problem is due to the inspection process - they weren't re-taping the ends.) I have to be sure, because - while I can afford to re-ship a few US orders, International ones are quite expensive ($10-$14 shipping). (More on this when I put up the post-mortem.)
The second batch of the international orders will ship this week. You should receive an email the day before your ships. Drop me a PM or message if there are any questions. And absolutely contact me if you receive a shipping notification - and no package within a week or two! Once again, I apologize for the delays!
Still haven't received anything yet, do you have any information ?
My set arrived Friday. They look great.
Got mine! They came out awesome. Getting poster frames for them and hanging them up at work. Thanks!
I got my posters last week sometime, awesome work! Very happy! Thanks!
@Jim - yours shipped in the first batch. (It's media mail, so there's no guaranteeing of delivery times.) Let me know once it arrives.
Still have not received my posters. Any thoughs?
Got my posters today. Not only am I flying off the walls with excitement in wanting to get them mounted; I am also very happy to report that through your gratuitous shipping delays; you managed to coincidentally have them delivered on my birthday.
Thank you!
@Anthony - I didn't include an e-mail address with the survey, I don't think this was asked in the survey.
I got the first delivery confirmation yesterday (for the ones shipping to the US). International orders took quite a bit longer to ship. (There's still a batch of international orders shipping this week)
If you need status, drop me an email (anthony.clay@zarthcode.com) - and include the email address you used in the survey, and I'll get back with details on your order.
Still haven't received anything yet. Any idea when they will get delivered?
If you need help with the online store, I'm a web developer who'd love to help!
Congratulations, I am looking forward to receiving my posters. I would like to vote for a transistor poster, OP-AMP poster and a PIC Microcontroller poster.
Congratulations!
Congrats on raising the funding!
Would like to see Arduino controllers, Op/Amps, and logic.
Congratulations on getting this funded. I plan on giving my set to my son who is studying electrical engineering and sound equipment design. This should be great for his work space.
Yea we hit goal!
Really looking forward to the posters.
I would like to officially cast my 3 votes for these additional posters:
Transistors
Operational Amplifiers
Microcontroller notes
I am also interested in Connector types / IC packages whenever that one gets designed, though I would probably go for a smaller size (11x17?) for that one as it is more of a desktop design reference instead of "IT's THE LAW!" style instructive poster.
Great idea! I have been using a low-res printout of the Ohm's Law graphic from http://www.warrenelectriccorp.com/technical/default.asp I need something better!
I also submitted this to /r/electronic_circuits.
I thought really hard about getting a Makerbot, but decided on getting a mill instead. I've learned a lot going this route - (I'm hoping to make an extruder tool to mount to the mill directly.)
I Love this idea, and I would love to have the Arduino poster on the short list. Anthony I noticed you are into CNC have you gotten into 3D prototype printers yet? They peek my interest too :) This is an awesome project :)
Ohm's law, capacitors, op amps, transistors, and basic logic would all be awesome.
This needs to go on Reddit or somewhere with a lot of a exposure. Hack-a-day is okay but we need more broad viewer-ship!
Love the posters! -Caught my eyes especially because it's a sign of my life: a hybrid of my Battery Substitute Kickstarter project and my day job (law-related). :)
great idea I look forward to hanging these in my workshop
I'd be most interested in 555 timer and AVR chip ones, apart from that, possibly the basic logic, or 7400 logic...
The posters are all going to be centric to electrical engineering. If you have any specific subjects or poster ideas, just comment it here, and I'll add to the list.
i would like one with information for electrical engineering
FYI, I've updated the maximum number of posters to be included to ten.
